What makes one a crack pot christian?

I want to know what makes one a "crack pot" christian in your own eyes.

I would say try to be nice but I have a feeling that it wouldn't be worth the effort.

Well

I consider myself a Christian because I strictly follow what Jesus did and taught. Because that does not fit with the views of society, I am considered a crack pot. My guess is that who ever has views that don't fit your own then you are a crack pot.

  You mean they see you as a "hyper-Christian"(or something like that) because you choose to follow your religion? I think I know what you mean (I'm a pagan) because I've been down that road many times.

crack pot ???

I can only assume by that phrase you mean crazy or as some say: "way out there in left field". In that sense I'd have to say a crack pot is someone who proclaims to be a Christian but clearly is attempting to mold God such as to fit what he thinks God really is instead of who God really is. Thus, then he would have the perfect excuse to claim to be a Christian.

i dont know why, but it get affended when some one makes fun of or like desacrates some thing from another religion. i grew up going to church, i mean a borring hard core catholic church. i did not like it much so when i turned 18 my mom gave the the choice, do i go or not? i chose not to go. i dont get anything from it. i like attending a teen group one and a while but it is just not for me. what would make some one a "crack pot" christian as you so imaginitivley put it, in my opinion, would be the kind of person that takes it to seriously. i hate it when some crazy religious person wants to MAKE me part of their religion. i dont have any obligation to try and get all the teens on my side and boycot the church. religion is a personal choice and opinion. the only people that try and MAKE you their religion are like "crack heads" in the sense that they want to know that they are not the only ones that are totally for jesus, they want to know what they are doing is right. personally i get scared when i see vidio take of christians who are getting really into the sermon, and like faint and stuff "DEMONS, COME OUT!!!" my skin starts to crawl and i just have to evert my eyes. but i dont try and get them to stop. like i said before, religion is a personal choice. i like to keep to my slef with my religious practices, and if some one askes about what i am doing i tell them. if they want to know more i give them more.
