is there a religion in which i can learn about god but not worship as if he's the only one i'll ever need in life?

  i want to find a religion that knows god but doesnt worship the ground he doesnt walk on. i mean, i can say i love him and pray to him everyday for support and happiness. though i dont, i am happier to know that i dont have to. will god like me any less, if he were so forgiving. would he not let me in to heaven if their is such a thing. i dont know. i believe that everything in history about religion is opinion. whose to say what really is right and wrong when everyone has a different opinion. their are no facts. is god real or not? i can say that he is but that is still opinion. when most people say that god isnt real because he allows people to suffer in such ways like sickness, if i were a god i dont think i would be able to put two beings or creatures in the same place while they both hate each other. soon my creation would be dead and i too would suffer. is god perfect and immortal? if he looks like us, feels like us, how can he live where we cannot see him, know him personally? how would our spirits live in paradise when my own paradise would not be the same as everyone elses. If i hate people but god forgave me, would i still be o.k. around people in heaven? in our so-called paradise? is god real? i-dont-know.

    That's the thing about dieties. You have to worship them. The question is, is there more than one diety? If so, is there right and wrong dieties? You are a subject to whom you obey. Is it possible to be worshipping a god without doing anything? If you did nothing to show obedience to a god, would it be appropriate for that god to do nothing for you as far as blessings. If there is a correct god and its creation doesn't obey, should it care that its creation kills and subjugates each other? If you felt you needed to be forgiven for some act you took, how would you convince your diety that you deserved forgiveness?

    if you ask me, being agnostic is the best way to go. there is no worshiping, no out right denial or acceptance of a god. you live your life and find the little things in life that actually mean something. that, my friend, is the way to go

      a religion is pre-packaged for easy digestion...
      
      forming your own ideas, however, is stressful and most people dont want the inconvenience of having to think for themselfs...

    nice thoughts

    the image of paradise dosn't seem to fit to everybody since we are different. true indeed.. i always wonder.. and would ithe paradise be ok if i would be alone.. with no lover no family, no freinds.. i guess not. i would rather die and never wake up...
    i am a free person and i refuse to worship god as if i were a slave.
