love conquers all14% Voted for by I-Cry-Silent-Tears, the observer, dandaman, looking4realtruth, crimson rivers. (7 total)
Love is stronger in that love can drive someone more than hate. If you were to fight for someone out of love i believe you would be able to give everything rather than if it was out of hate because it would blind you.

Hate is stronger10% Voted for by Nyouya, RiseFromThyAshes, ohsweetie2788, Puebert, aria94.
I find hate is stronger than love. To love someone a person has to take time to do it, get to know that person, and it is quite hard sometimes. Yet hate is a different matter. It is so much easier to hate something. For example, a person, say his name is Bob, doesn’t understand the culture in Irac ands assumes all these bad things are involed in the culture. He most likely will take the easier way out and hate Irac because he doesn’t want to take the time to seek the truth. Hate overrules and over powers love. From my experinces love opens you up for pain and most people arn’t stupid enough to keep doing things that hurt them. (Like in you childhood, when you were scowled for something, you learned not to do it.) But my main reason is people are just too lazy to love, so they hate. And that hate builds up and concers dear little perious love. So, basically hate is stronger ‘cause there is so much of it.
(Sorry if I repeated myself sometimes. I have a habit of doing that. I need to break it.)

Equal, but unequal8% Voted for by Arianna Liadon, -TheLoneWolf-, Dienush, Seria-Evans.
I think That they are equal in a sense that you can choose what governs you life. Once you are past your choice though I belive that you will have to fight to overcome your first choice. For example you are born, when you come of an age to understand such things you choose hate, from that point you are hateful towards everything, to get free of the hate you must overcome it and all your mistrust and find love.

I don't believe either is stronger.6% Voted for by SilverScent, Evil Pancakes, Celtess.
Well, it's human nature to dislike something one doesn't understand. So I think it's easier to hate. But that doesn't mean it's the best thing. It just go's to show the easy way out isn't always the best one. What is the deffinition of love and hate anyway? Is it just the extreme's of each side of the emotional spectrum? Loving does take more work, althought I think it's worth it. As to which is stronger, I don't think either is realitivly stronger than the other. It's a subjective thing. Each person feels differently, and to try and class those feelings is impossible. Sure, there are general feelings of like and dislike, but who's to say what is hate and love? Only the person feeling it, so therefore it's never the same.

hate is a tought and learned feeling4% Voted for by RockSteady, splodgey.
Hate is learned. Love is given freely, Hate is rejected. Love is accepted. Hate hurts, Love heals that hurt, so you tell me how hate can be stronger then Love. It dont even come close

not a yes or no question4% Voted for by branded2kill, Theblackocean.
It depends on the reasons for loving or hating in the first place. Love can make a person do anything, hate may not. Some can also get bored with or forget thier love while others can get lost in thier hate. I guess it depends on you.

i feel that love and hate are equal. they both can controle someone and can change someone dermaticly they both have there ways of doing things even tho there so different. to me love is like pain b/c u open up ur hart to someone wit the chance of them puting u in so much pian whether they mean to or not pain is like fear and fears like hate. hate can sometimes over power love and seem stronger but justlike hate love can do the same. to me i dont see much of a diference between the 2 there both just the same as they are different

For some reason, I remember hearing somewhere, there's a fine line between love and hate. They're almost the same thing, just different words.

LOVE AND HATE ARE THE SAME EMOTION. THEY ARE SPRUNG WITH THE SAME PASSION. YOU CAN'T HAVE AN OPPISITE WITHOUT IT'S OPPISITE. YOU CAN'T HAVE LOVE WITHOUT HATE, AND VICE VERSA. LOVE AND HATE ARE BOTH EMOTIONS JUST PRESENTED DIFFERENLTY.

Hate is definitely stronger!Voted for by Brooklyn 6 Project.
I strongly believe that hate is indeed stronger. The reason I say that is because it's easier to hate something or someone! A person can hate something for no apparent reason given. They may not be able to figure out why they hate it, but for some odd reason they just hate it. Hate is definitely the stronger emotion of the two!!!

i dont think love is stronger then hate b/c if you loved someone strongly you would want to protect them and make sure they would never get hurt and you would never kill them if you hated someone strongley you could kill them

love and hateVoted for by Beena.
Love and hate are both absolutes. Without having love for a person I can still hate him, I don't have to hate him because I didn't love him, and without having any hate for a person first, I can love him, so the two are not because of the absence of another. They are both absolutes. Because they are kind of opposites and absolutes, therefore it's possible they each have equal strength. Whatever...

Love vs HateVoted for by star-filled-sky.
I do believe that love is very strong. When someone is in love it fills them up inside and makes them happy and it just makes them want to scream and smile. But I think hate is strong too. It also makes you want to scream but diffrently. It makes you want to tear everything apart. Both might seem equal but in my own experiences Love is much stronger. It fills me up inside more than hate ever could. However, I think you have to have loved someone before you can truly hate them. But both are a type of obbsession with the thing or person you are directing the emotion twords.

defidently hatred is. with hatred you already feel sadness and darkness. Love when you get dumped or whatever your in sorrow, then you start to lead toward hatred for the person.pnktrky

My conclusion from this line of thinking was that generally, a stronger person will choose the more difficult but more overall beneficial and Love, while the weaker person would choose to hate.
