What world do you live in? Ethics

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The world around us turns as we read this and all over the world different situations call for different behaviours, reactions responsibilities. Please ponder the following.

We can look at the world today and wonder is this really how things should be?

Would we change it if we could?

Is there a desription for the way things should be?

Do we live for each other or for ourselves?

If people thought about others would it make a difference and vice versa. What would be the outcome of such situations.

Is it possible to have a universal code of ethics?

It depends on the ideals and beliefs of those you ask. No matter if we want things to be different at some point we must be willing to see how things currently are around us and deal with it accordingly.

Personally I cannot imagine anyone not changing anything, being totally content with the current world.

I call my map a Bible, others use whatever.

Do we live for each other or for ourselves?
I think our goal is to live for each other but ironically most of us live for ourselves only.

The Bible has alot to say about putting others first and loving your neighbor as yourself. Christ is our example and He did more than just make a difference, He affected the world. So yes, putting others first will make a difference.

In as much as a flawed human can, but Christ proved it is possible, for all things are possible with God. Many will disagree with me on this and that is fine. They have their beliefs and I have mine.

  • Fairly Simple for me
In almost all cases I would not want to restrict an adult doing anything as long as it does not harm anyone else.

I think having a kind of code is not very necessary as I believe on the whole people will do the right thing. People would have to be well-intentioned in the first place to abide by such a code...
