If you had the power of a god?

This topic may have been started before but, what if you had absolute power? The power of a god. What would you do with that power and why? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, obviously.

    ................bring the birth rate of the planet to a negative balance and leave it that way until we have achieved parity amungst all people. That is the only change I would make then I would explore the universe and time.

    If I had all power I would do nothing unless human beings learn for themselves the lessons of life and find meaning through their own discipline, than it would be a waste to simply give them the knowledge of all that is, so I would wait and watch, sparing only those who had reached it's meaning.

    To be completely honest I wouldn't help the world and bring peace like some of you might put. I would use that power for my own desires, which is mainly going to worlds of books and films i like. Also if i also would probably cause chaos in places as well, well if you have such power then you can do whatever you want, and i'd find my true happiness in it all. I know, im wierd.

  • Give it up!
    Omnipotence would be a curse. I'd give myself a few cool powers, make a couple adjustments to the world I think it might need, and give it up. If you give people eternal and infinite bliss or put yourself in it, then that's just boring. If there is no strife, there can be no joy, and vice versa. Plus, power corrupts . . . imagine what the power of a God would do to my feeble mortal morals.

  • Heal
    If i had the power of a god, i would want to be able to heal people. mend the impossible, revive dead flesh (that is flesh (ie. flesh lost to burns or disease), not life in itself). I value life as the most important thing, and as with the person above, i wouldnt make world peace, stop all disasters. that, in the end, would be pointless. you loose creativity, individualism ect ect. i merely wish to relieve the suffering of the severly wounded.

    I'd banish all humans into oblivion, except all those I liked. Then I'd transform the world into a paradise for me and my friends and loved ones.
