Muslims and jews

  • Christ Followers
Well a true "Christ Follower" shouldnt hate any Jew or Muslim because Jesus said to Love everyone. Im guessing the hateing on other religions begin when our pride says Im right and your wrong. so all the christains in the world should be a light instead of a wet rag

  • Ironic...
Isn't it typical of our society how the most closely related religions are the ones that hate eachother the most? Take Christians and Jews, for example- Jesus Christ, the Christian Lord, was a Jew, and yet most hate crimes toward Jews are done by Christians. And Islam, though very similar to Christianity, is hardly a religion most Christians sympathize with. To them, it seems closer to Hinduism.

  • BOTH THE TWO
    Both the two---muslims and jews,
Seek inspiration from the same light,
    Making their life Hereafter bright,
Recite the Scriptures, worship One God,
Respect the holy prophets, love angels' abode,
Maintain many beliefs in common the two,
Why should they fight, for nothing at all!
The two contain thousands of words in common,
And rituals too in everyday life.
Both pray to God and seek His pardon,
And call Abraham as their great father,
The two are signs of holy message,
But both have put aside words of the Books.
And are involved in worldly pursuits.
Some sects of Jews conceal will of God,
And sects of Muslims do against the noble teachings
Of the Last Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
It is therefore, both Jews and Muslims
Look stand pole apart, at daggers drawn
Even thousands of things are common.
    Between the warring religions two!

  • Pointless fighting
I think that fighting on religious grounds is very silly. As far as I know, no religion encourages violence in its teachings, even to people that don't believe in that religion (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I don't understand why they need to argue over which of the many versions is 'correct'. To me it seems that both Judaism and Islam (and other religions) are totally overcrowded with pointless stigma and rules about when and where to pray, what you can and can't eat, clothes, sex etc. As long as you leave the world a better place than it was before, isn't that what any religion should be aiming for anyway? When people fight over religion, they are just using their faith to make the world a more violent and intolerant place, which seems to be the total opposite of the effect religions should be having.
