A Very Creepy Book

a book has been published by richard a cohen about a young boy who is molested by his uncle, lives in an unstable home, thinks he's gay, but finds out he is not.

    You don't need to answer if you don't want to. I'm just a little curious if this book has any truth to it.

    How many people here who "are gay" have been molested as a child by someone of your same sex and or feel they have recieved little to no love from their parent of the same sex? or possibly never had a parent of the same sex as you?

    I don't think this book is creepy in any way. The book shows the importance of a parent’s love, as well as what is inappropriate behavior between family members.

    Whether or not this book is based on truth is questionable. It is neither labeled as biographical or autobiographical – but I think it is aimed to teach lessons more than any.

    My only concern is whether or not a child would understand it.

    This book is wrong on so many levels. Though I feel like the molesting aspect of the book is completely unnecessary for children..the pictures in that part creeped me out more. The book is totally nuts. Kids are never gonna want to read again after they hear this book. Reading is supposed to be a carefree and enjoyable thing not disturbing on a level of non other.

    I also think that assuming someones gay because of lack of contact with their father or mother and because they were molested is complete bull. Not many people know but I was molested and Im not gay. I dont have a super strong relationship with my parents and Im not gay.

    If this book has more than 5 copies published that company needs to fire some people.
