God save me from religion...I was told today I have no salvation without following my 'born-with' religion which is (Ukrainian) Catholic.Voted for by dollar.
I never knew God required you be a member of a cult in order to live a just life and insure my 'after life' by practicing superficial church-going...
Because that is all religion is, a CulT-ural tradition.
It is but a publicly accepted method of trying to reach God. Just as we have publicly accepted ways of dressing in public.
Its all about what the superficial system of society see's the 'correct' way as at any given period of time.
Someone telling you their religious beliefs are the way to salvation is like someone telling you to dress a certain way in order to achieve salvation,
pure superficial nonsense.
Every single person has the right to find God in their own unique way without having to worry about group-minded cultish individuals telling them they have no salvation unless they follow the group.
Let people make the decision to join the cult on their own if they want instead of instilling fear in individuals by playing with their insecurities making them feel obligated to join.
People have the ability to find God themselves and not have to run to the God of others.
Tell me all who belong to socially accepted organized religious cults, if you want to believe what the organization tells you why do you feel the need to be condescending on all us 'evil' 'non-believers'?

Jesus said church, not churches.
Everyone believes that their beliefs are correct, therefore everyone elses beliefs must be wrong. In terms of biblical Christianity, there can be only one correct way. First, believe that the Bible is the only criteria for determining the correct church, then find the church that matches with what the Bible says. For instatnce, Jesus says to keep the commandments (the ten comandments). If we are to do that, we must keep the seventh day sabbath (Friday at sundown to Saturday at sundown). If any church is not doing that, it cannot be the right church. Also, there are holy days that the Bible says that God said were to be kept forever. If any church is not keeping those holy days, it cannot be the correct church. By a process of elimination, you can easily find the one and only true church. Note too, God is only calling whom He will now to do His work. The world, in general, is not being called at this time. As Jesus said, none can come to Him unless the Father calls him, and mercifully, it is only a few. Knowing this, you are not likely to find any of the true church to be condescending to "non-believers" because, eventually, it will be those of the true church who will be teaching the world the truth. And it is not that they are non-believers, it is because they are deceived. Last note: just as Jesus was not accepted in His time, God's true church will not (is not) accepted in this time.keyman7

His religion seeks to celebrate life, man's religion rarely do. We will each come to the truth when we are ready to accept that truth.Let no-one tell that they can provide only what G-d can.
