Do opposites attract (in love) ?

Well, I am thinking that it is normal for opposites to attract, but my question is whether you can have love between two opposites, and a stable relationship, despite the fact that the two persons are so different, in matter of taste, of thinking, they are just purely opposite.

  • Is this relative?
    I don't know for sure, there can be many theories, but i personally tend to choose this one because it makes more sense.
    This is relative to the persons involved and the type of relationship. If the relationship is going well and the differentiation between them doesn't affect them, and if they feel good together, then it could exist, but I don't have any proof of it. I can't say...
    I'm currently in one of these relationships and I have to say it looks like there's no way of making all the things to work good for both, but there is something good in all this, because if it weren't we wouldn't have been together now after almost a year...
    I want to hear your experiences and your opinions and if you know people who are opposite and still in love.

    TOO opposite probably won't make for a great, long relationship. If all you do is end up arguing all the time and constantly want to do different things, it's probably not that enjoyable of a relationship. They can make for some steamy relationships, and you can even care about them as a decent person that is reliable. But you likely won't be happy being WITH them.

    But plenty of times opposites can complement each other. One brings a bit of stability, one brings a bit of wildness. One's a comedian, one likes to listen. Stuff like that.

    well, there is love but... a stable relation ship this is what i am hoping for..
    but i don't really think it could be without making sacrifices or changing a little the way he or you wants him..
