.So to the women - what do you think men look for in a woman? Not what should they, but what do they, in your opinion?
Men, please tell us what you personally look for in a woman, here:

(I had said for women to not read the other topic before responding here, and for the sexes to keep to their own topics... but actually, just go nuts. Where-ever it flows it flows ) .

What I think a man would find attractive in a woman:I personally think no make-up, or next to no make-up, would have to be more attractive than make-up.Voted for by sca.
I mean, it's not natural, and not what we're going to look like when we wake up in the morning.
I think in general there is such thing as too skinny, and curves are a plus as opposed to a fat... but of course different guys like different thing.
Confidence and intelligence would have to be attractive, no matter how physically attractive she technically is it would have to boost it.
I think a girl being a bit down to earth, and even a little masculine in personality (i.e. eating big, burping and laughing about it, etc) would attractive rather than unattractive. Girl next door over the princess, kind of thing. A girl in flannelette would be more attractive to a guy than a girl in a pink mini and sparkly top.
And a few other bits and pieces I guess - needing to be earnt, being up front with problems, being happy and not upset... but I don't want to flood this with what I think too much, I'd rather see what others think.

I know I'm not meant to be here but....
Yeah you really have got a pretty good picture on what we do look for but as you said 'different guys like different things.'I'd like to emphasize the importance of a trustworthy woman and having a good self-esteem of themselves. There is nothing worse for a guy to have the 'perfect' girl, only to lose her to another guy for reasons that had nothing to do with you. (I speak from experience). And while we guys usually do genuinely care for how you girls feel, it is a bit over baring when we are constantly being heard how inadequate you are: "I'm not smart", "I look and feel unattractive". If you feel more positive and good about yourself, than your partner will feel the same way (and he'll feel like the luckiest guy in the world).
Otherwise, WATCH OUT FELLAS, she's on the ball!!!

Depends. Depends on the guy, depends on the girl. Fromy my experience, make-up is not always necessary; sometimes though its like a person wearing nice clothes or dressed well for a certain occasion.
There are times when make-up can make a woman look more pretty, or noticeable, or give you that little twinkle in your eye; but it is for ocassions.
It all depends really. I skimmed over the other stuff you wrote and you painted a nice picture of a particular type set of female, yet while denigrating the availability of other types, characteristics or expressions therein. There is a multitude of different facets and combinations, but most importantly, it is connection that matters. If we connect, then that is a good start. If we feel that a woman wants us to love them and we are compelled to love them in return, faring from any beginnings of a relationship, then you have a lifelong attraction. A soul mate, per se. It transcends the excitement and bravado of all other criterium and simply IS.

I didn't mean to say those examples were the only attractive ones... except I'll confess to a personal bias against daily consumption of cosmetics. The stuff's for formals, and nice dinners, not for walking to the milk bar...
(And it would have worked, if there were more active female posters on the site. I didn't realise there weren't).
