Well why do people betray there closest and give them pain does this gives them satisfaction?

I mean why is that people are so close to you and they suddenly betray you. When you trust them , love them, care for them, are sincere to them how come they give you pain does that gives them satisfaction. Hurting a person gives them fun or they love giving pain?

    Well what I think is that that the people who joke with others feeling do betray them , and laugh. They are stone hearted people and they are fake.
