Men work as masons, labourers, contracters, architects, investers etc to build beautiful and magnificient palaces, forts, residences, towers, colonies etc etc, but if their does not live any woman/mistress, the building/dwelling cannot be declared as “home”. To make it “Home Sweet Home”, their must be mother/wife/sister/daughter/beloved etc to turn a house into home. Is it true or a house/residence can be home without the presence of woman??

Its ridiculous to say that only women can be sweet and kind...men have that capability as well it is just repressed by the gender roles of society which would be ...men strong cold unfeeling...women weak caring loving.....because these are the views held by most of society that is how children are brought up to believe...i think part of the reason i believe this is because i was raised by my mother and therefore adopted views of feminism...however i am constantly teased due to my ideas and no doubt other young men are as well causing them to want to be more "manly" and forgetting their original morals

Read the book of Proverbs concerning the women, wife and home. The woman is the lighthouse to the man. He struggles without her. She is the virtue that builds his business and family. Several chapters in Proverbs concerning women and it paints a picture of equality, not following the leader, but of a family democratic.

I think it's security and love that make buildings homes, disregarding sex. However, I find this a nice thought, if you don't take it literally but rather think of the yin-yang principles, then it would be as well true. One doesn't have to be a woman to be femininie or vice-versa.

words imply meaning
So if there are no differences in the sexes, or gender if you wish to be specific, then why do all females have to X's and all males have an X and a Y. Biologically the X chromosome contains many things that the Y doesn't and vis-versa. If you don't think that gender makes a difference then you are lying to yourself. You are so wrapped up in the effort to remain the most open-minded politically correct person left alive that you have shut off all avenues to the truth. People are different. Genders are different. There is man, and there is woman. They are counterfactuals to each other. They complement and coordinate with each other and have done so none-stop for the duration of their million or so year journey down through history. If they weren't different then the human race would not have survived this long. Take a look at the world around you. All species have gender differences (except single gender species). Some species' genders are so different that they look absolutely nothing alike and they act nothing alike. There are many similarities in the human genders, but there are also many differences. Let us embrace the differences and rely on the strengths of both genders to guide us through the next million years of the journey du homo sapien.August 8, 2005
