The Awesome
I would stand at the top of a tall structure and make sure that there is something relatively soft such as grass, or a sleeping fat person, below. I would preferably be on the edge of some kind of overhang, such as a bridge.
Next, I'd tie cheese wire around my neck, tight enough that it won't slip off under tension but loose enough not to choke me.
I'd then tie the cheese wire to something solid on top of the structure, making sure that there is a good six or seven feet of slack. Then I'd stand at the edge and glue my hands to each side of my head.
Once my hands were securely attached, I'd jump off the structure. It'll only hurt for a second, when the cheese wire runs out of slack and slices through my neck. The overhang should stop me from bashing my now-severed head against the wall of the structure when the cutting motion jerks my body backwards.
I'll hopefully land face down, although this is really out of my hands. This has the excellent effect of causing whoever finds my body to think that I have pulled my head off.

other than avoiding pain as much as posible what does it matter, As for dieng for something you believe in , .....everything passes , in 10,000 yrs your causes wont even be remebered, and no one will know if you were a sinner or saint, hero or villain, and if mankind still exists on this old earth , more than likely , the countries we hve today will no longer exist

Top one: not die. I've heard a couple theories about death being just a disease, with doctors trying to find the cure for it and whatnot. I don't buy it. I think we're supposed to die. But I wish my loved ones and I wouldn't... doesn't everyone??

Pfftt.... I want my death to be slow and agonizing. I want to feel every once of pain so I know i once lived. The details are a little fuzzy, but i hoped i'm kidnapped and tortured by some sick fuck trying to feed blood to the monster behind his wall(johnny the homicidal maniac ref.).

Well simply lay an the bed and die though it would be great to die helping or saving someone. As a whole I'll choose a quick peaceful death. Because a little happiness of heart won't hurt!

On Top of a Star or a Collapse After Victory...
I would create a special suit that covers my entire body that would allow me to withstand incredible heat. I would then take a space ship to a star and land there. I'd go out and step on the star, but of course, the star's heat would be ultimate between my suit and it's surface so it would kill me instantly. But it would be so quick so I would feel no pain.
Hey, I would get to touch a star! That's pretty amazing.
Another way would be in battle. But not like, guns and stuff like that. I want swords. I'd go back to the midival times and fight someone one on one. I'd kill them first, and then collapse, my physical strength leaving me. I've always wanted to face someone in a combat like that.

not particually scared of death just don't want it to be painful, if im not asleep then that new uno no suffering gas therve got for humane capital punishment or whatever. mmm... wot would i die for, an idea, my family, people really. i suppose...
