should kids at the age of 10 be able to date, or should there be a age requirment.

    Pardon my squirrely ignorance... but the last time i checked, a 10 year olds veiw of "dating" was FAR different than my own...

    if you have a 10 year old that is dating someone in the same way that a 20 year old would date someone, then i think you have much bigger fish to fry...

    at 10, all dating means is "thats my girlfriend... *sniffle* she has kooties"...

  • i think that you shouldnt date till your at least 14
    i believe that its wrong to let a child thats barely a pre teen date. i mean they dont really know the first thing about dateing. also they grow up faster if they date younger than normal. i think that a person shouldnt start dating unless they are older. i mean if they put an age limit kind of thing on dating there wouldnt be so many teen pregnancies and std's. also i think that when someone starts dating they should have an older brother or sister chaperone. or a friend.

    if you cant understand the reason why you would stake your life to protect someone you care about you shouldnt be dateing... then again i might be a little harsh. i started dating at 17.

    I think you should wait. But I do remember kids "dating" in middle school, which meant they held hands and their parents took them to movies. I guess that was alright.

    Theres no point until at least high school. Dating before then is pretty much my mom will take us here and I'll say your my girlfriend/boyfriend. Somehow somewhere kids , teens, adults, senior citizens whoever got this idea that its cool to have a significant other and without one you fail. I remember middle school and everyone being all freaked out and paired up but really what did we do? hang out my the swings and giggle when they came around? Not that that doesnt happen now lol but this ideal of a perfect life with a guy or girl is ridiculous.

    You honestly think if they put an age limit on it it wouldnt happen? The more you tell someone they cant do something the more they want to do it and will try to figure out why they shouldnt. Which is quite possibly part of the reason young kids are pushing the sexual envelope.
