Religion in school

    I think it's fine to teach religion in school as long as it is put in its proper place--a religions course. It isn't science, it's theology, so it does not belong beside Darwin's theory of evolution. Even though they both try to explain human origin, that doesn't make them the same. They're more like two roads that lead to the same city.

    Studying religion can actually be beneficial to understand history and how peoples' minds work--after all it has played a major role in society. The problem I see with the conservatives is that they side with only they're ideal and want to exclude all others.

    If you want to pray, do it on your own time. School time is limited--so in-between classes or afterward.

    Students should be allowed to express their beliefs freely on campuses as long as they don't preach hate speech against groups.

  • What can you do
    In school i get docked for saying "god"
    now i do not beleive in this "god" so i dont beleive i should get docked points for it. And what other purpose is there for religion in school except for just learning?
