A Yahoo member of the Questions & Answers Forum, KAREN, 36, in response to the above question, posts:

"No.Hillary is just more competent than Barrack will ever be,
so I am glad she is still fighting.

    It won't destroy the party.
Hopefully, it will take it in a new and better direction
    than Howard Dean did."

Another member, who refers to himself as The_Crow opines

"It's like a Greek tragedy. Hillary's unwillingness to conceed to the clear frontrunner will take this race, and the country, to the deuce with her. There really isn't anything that will stop the descent into the mirky brine.

"It's not just them. Don't forget Bill Clinton's lies and the damage done by John Kerry, Howard Dean, and Al Gore!!"

It is not funny. Second, it is the Clintons that are destroying the Democratic Party, NOT Obama!!

My husband and I are both 22 and very interested in politics. We both tend to vote republican and while we were not ecstatic about McCain, he has our vote.

Yesterday we were sitting here talking about everything going on in the media as far as politics and saw the new story about Clinton and her "landing under sniper fire..." then saying she, "misspoke." We started laughing to hard. I mean if Obama's pastor isn't cutting his votes, Hilary's big mouth is cutting hers. It is very entertaining. It definitely leaves me wondering what's going to happen next, and also makes me wonder how people can't be interested in politics.

LOL, even look at the responses from Dems on here. They are so torn it's killing the party. sad :-)

Not just the democratic party but possibly the entire Country.

Hillary, as we all know, is a cat fighter and does not know the meaning of integrity. Can anyone imagine a less presidential or even statesman like person running the Country.

I do believe Obama has tried to stay above the fray but Hillary is so vicious.

In any event I am voting for Sen. McCain. The U.S. takes priority with him and not a personal quest for power.

I don't think anyone is destroying the party. If the candidates can't take the mudslinging now they'll never make it the GE. Better get everything out now so there won't be any suprises later. Do you think the rep.wouldn't find out about Wright or Bosnia? They probably already had and was just saving it for the GE.

Honestly I feel like I'm watching two kids on the playground. What ever happened to "Adult" politics. I'm actually for both of them, because once again the repulicans are ultra organized as ever, which makes the Dems look like a side show circus. I would hope to turn on the news one day next week with actuall intellegent news stories, instead of reality TV.

The fact is the only way Hillary can win the nomination as it stands is divide the Democratic Party and give John McCain 4 years! Barack Obama has the delegate lead and to take it from him with back-room bull-crap will only insure John McCain is the next president! Hillary should talk with Barack about being VP to him and then go forward together while there is still time to unite the party! Should Hillary have this delegate lead Barack has, it would be the shoe on the other foot! Hillary Clinton is the problem at this time....she is destroying the Democrat's chances of regaining the "White House!" Barack Obama is just trying to ride out the wave to victory......without being shot out of the saddle by the Clinton's!

4444 (Level 4) Nice to see you do have a sense of humour, man.

I think they are transforming the party.

Not really being a Democrat since I perceived the values pro working class & poverty watered down in the Clinton era, I have moved to consider either Greens or Neoconservatives.

Actually, I'm a monarchist. You may vote for me for King of the Caliphate of al-America. I will guarantee we honour the spirit of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, something King George has decidedly violated with his cabal of cronies.

So I would present a question, in all seriousness: what do you recommend the DNC do? How would YOU lead the Dems? Might anyone give us a solution, rather than just try to be an unpaid critic?

Now, I mean this with all due respect. No offense is intended, please, sir. Critics are less than a dime a dozen. Artists may be cheap, but at least they are creating, not trying always to pick something apart.

  • Everybody got one and usually they smell
hill needs to give it up. she is doing McCain's job for him. what little cohesion is left in the party is being eroded by this infighting. at this point both parties should have an clear nominee. by dragging this out she is wounding obama for the general and giving McCain fodder for ads ex. red telephone, un American preacher, what his wife said. this plus he's to the left of the highly effective jimmy carter and running the same kind of campaign( sunshine and BS) will count against him in the general.

  • the whole system is corrupt
The democrats try to pass themselves off as progressive and tolerant, but in reality, they just kiss up to every fringe group on the left that offers them money.

The republicans try to pass themselves off as standing for traditional values and morals, but in reality, they just kiss up to every special interest on the right who offers them money.

neither party gives a barking spider about the people or the constitution, as they are both chasing after the green-backed god. that's why they weed out the people in both parties who actually want to do some good, and nominate those whom they can count on to tow the party line. You have a choice between Tweedledumb, and Tweedledumber.

i fear it's going to take a violent revolution before any of this is going to change.

  • No two party system
Considering the both parties are funded by the same money, this question becomes funny to me!
