The 6 girls attacking the one

Okay so this isnt Philosophy so much but wanted to know your thoughts. The story as Ive heard it and Im sure most of you have is that a 16 year old girl posted something on myspace about these cheerleaders that apparently wasnt nice or they didnt agree with. So they picked her up in a car took her to one of their grandparents made nice nice and then started yelling screaming and punching her in the head. 2 boys stood outside the house watching on look out. The attackers were 14 to 17 and one of the boys was 18. They are hoping for stays in juvi and thats it. The videos are everywhere if you havent seen it or want to see it again.

Although I have a myspace I barely talk to anyone on it let alone blog with it. These are teens I get that but Im 19 and I would never act like that no matter what anyone said. How do they not have better common sense? What exactly are we doing so terribly wrong that we cant teach them simple right and wrong? This is somewhat of a terrible thought but even if you were going to do that why would you tape it? They musta been wanting to get caught or something. I havent a clue what this girl said but I can hardly imagine that it deserves 6 girls all taking swings at her head and screaming in her face. She is going to be messed up now for the longest time and all these kids are gonna get is a slap on the wrist. It is actually making me physically sick to my stomache thinking about it. Im probably days behind but I intentionally dont watch the news to avoid stuff like this.
I am so angry about this! I just watched another video and he said that the girls were joking about it in the jail cell. And that one of the mothers of the attackers said she shouldnt talk smack about someone if she cant back it up.

Is myspace to blame or these kids? I say the kids. Myspace is the new burn book or slam book depending on the decade you were born lol.

throw some mud in between those girls and hell, we would have some good wholesome entertainment. The only think lacking would be a refreshment stand.

Now seriously, how stupid, a bunch of teenage girls going at it like dogs. We have moms and dads scared to spank their children as they grow up and etc. Many kids are starting to get out of control. When you take away the threat of punishment then there is nothing to keep them from crossing that behavior line. In my opinion, grounding a child is a poor excuse of punishment. Poor little suzie, she is confined to her room with only her cell, a playstation, a gamecube, tv, dvd, and her PC. OMG, how will she ever cope!!!...give me a break. I'm not advocating beating your child but hell, let the punishment fit the crime. Let your child know exactly where the "line of no return" is and when they cross it then spank(not beat) their little butt.
