Why is nudity such a big deal? To be, to see

It has often be observed that both men and women like to see others nude. And they also like others to see themselves with nude body. What is psychy behind it?

  • Because it is forbidden

I think if we were all nudists, it wouldn’t be nearly as interesting. So I’m pro-nudist, because I think all this junk is societally added because of it, at the same time the delight of sliding clothes off someone wouldn’t be nearly as racy

  • First humans were nude, weren't they?

Long ago in Greece people used clothes only to protect themselfes from weather. If they would see what a fuss we are making over nudity in this era, they would di of laughter.

  • "Nudity is Unity"

i think non-sexual nudity can be a very, very good thing, i’m not sure exactly how to explain it, it’s liberating, and you bond with people when you are naked together, even if you don’t touch, because it’s takes a lot of trust to let someone see all of you, if you are both naked though, you don’t really have room to judge, hmmn, i am rambling, anyway i wrote a poem about it, if anyone is interested, maybe that would explain it better: http://allpoetry.com/Poem/675029 also, the first time i went skinny dipping, i had been thinking for quite awhile how fat my thighs were, and once i was naked in the river it din’t matter anymore, it was litterally the first time in months i wasn’t preoccupied with my body and fat. being comfortable with your own body is a healthy thing. besides i don’t think that certain body parts are as big a deal as we make them out to be, we put too much emphasis on lust and sin and sex and guilt, whether it is to sell beer or condemn ourselves and others.

  • Lust causes the desire

Lust will cause the nudists to become indifferent to the nudity and then, because of it; find a new forbidden and much worse desire. Nudity although indiffernet, will lead to fornication and adultery, even desires to eat human bodies, is very possible! As the indifference to each level of “liberation” increases, the nudists are forced to reveal more about their lusts. Eventually murder and cannibalism will be colonized also.

  • Restless nature of man

There are some secrets of Nature, including private organs, personal life, future etc, that must remain secret, and hidden from the eyes/knowledge of man. And if they are revealed, they may create problems for him. But as man is impatient, so he tries hard to break the noble laws of Nature, and suffers in the end!!!

  • Its a part of life...

but thats not to say it needs to be a big part. Like anything else in life moderation is the key here. If we totally embrace nudity and people are free to streak in the streets, than nudity will no longer even be anything like it is now. It will loose its appeal and will become boring. If we keep it the way it is, with minimal exposure, the human body will still be beatiful and attractive. To little nudity and general confusion and fear will result. So keep it in control.

  • Natural Modesty

Some ancient Greek philosopher (probably Socrates) theorised that humans come with a "Natural Modesty" or "Natural Ethics" saying that all humans from birth have "common" ethics like not killing people or running around naked. The opposite of that is "Social Ethics" (not right but you get the idea) and that states that some things are set as right or wrong by society such as Insider trading and Hacking.

None of these (like anything in philosophy) have been proven or disproven, it could be either (or niether).

  • apart from sex appeal: connection? representing a fellow human, open to you.

recognition of a fellow human, connections what is hidden becomes curious! mass media turns it into desire. and yet, the older you get, the less young people like to see! but also the body contains the human-ness, a person. revealed,

  • Who are WE to say?

Opinions opinions. Humans in general do NOT find pleasure in other peoples naked bodies. Some humans may, but many MANY do not want to see YOU naked. Majority always rules...always.

  • Curiosity

Man is curious by nature and wants to look into what is hidden or prohibited..Otherwise, all humans have same body with two arms, two legs, two feet, belly, chest, neck, private/sex organ, buttocks etc….......

  • shame for nudes.........

nudity tempts for vulgarity and sinful life…...it is strictly forbidden too…...further, if we reveal our hidden parts, they will lose their charm too….
