So do they weigh each other out, or is one more significant?

Large ScaleEven if it is costly on a larger level, those costs should just be considered an investment of the future of earth. If we don't recycle as much as we can, the plant will die off quicker. I know it is slowly dieing anyway, but if we continue to advance in things such as our system for recycling, we may be able to stop or even reverse much of the damage our race has already done.66% Voted for by Wolf of Roses, impatient-woman.

WELL...On a personal level, recycling is really easy and relatively cost-effective.Voted for by tfry.
Recyclables in yellow bin, rubbish in red and the story ends there.
But when it gets away from me and onto a mass scale?
I really don't know. As much as I want everyone to recycle, I understand the huge costs behind it. Some companies really cannot afford to spend the extra money just because it's good for the environment.
So those who can afford it, should recycle. Those who can't don't. Is the world going to be saved if we do that? Probably not. More companies will claim that they can't afford it.
But should we spend now to save for the future?
WELL..... THAT'S MY BIT......

The more materials the more plant life die off.
The more plant life destroyed the more animal life is destroyed and the more animals are forced to resort to new methods of hunting and survival, if they don't become extinct from losing their homes. Animals that are practicing new methods change the condition of the habitat, dramatically.
