Every year millions of books are written but authors write people of the same mind set – multi millions of messages are put on the internet, how many are read and how many are understood most if not all people have a belief system whether science or gods or that the world is round but we spend our lives without a clue about anything and yet many people still think they can tell us unbelievers that they can help and by the way an unbeliever is someone who doesn’t know anything and therefore cannot say definitely whether there be gods or not just that if there be a god it would have to me more intelligent than me. So after putting up the topic name why do I persist to look?

everyone seeks, hard to accept that we don't know.Voted for by redbrita.
because everyone seeks reasons and answers? because its hard to accept that we just don't know? science looks for new answers and new questions, whereas organised religions look for proof of old answers that aren't holding up. the strongest theory is one that can potentially be falsifiable (bit of Popperian philosophy), you can never prove a religion wrong and they believe that gives them strength. but you can't prove it right either, there are a gazillion other reasons why stuff happens that can't be proved wrong either, for example aliens, but NO christianity generally doesnt fit aliens into the equation to they?

People listen if they want to hear what a person is saying. If it is something that they don't like, or that is hard to accept, they choose to ignore it. When it comes to caring about people in general, while a few people couldn't care less, more people care about their friends and family. If it's a person you barely know, and that person is just an average person, then a lot of the time, people don't really care.
