Is God not just a Santa Claus for adults?
-
The Santa Claus for adults...
God is a Santa Claus for adults.
Just to name a few similaries between Santa Claus and God:
Santa Claus gives purpose to ones life.
God gives purpose to ones life.
Santa Claus says be good and you shall be rewarded.
God says be good and you shall be rewarded.
Both say if you do bad you shall be punished.
The believer of a Santa Claus feels a mysterious presence.
The believer of God feels a mysterious presence.
Now let me ask you:
Does Santa Claus exist?
Well there have been numerous studies on this and we have found we cannot prove or disprove the existence of a Santa Claus.
***Most people find it completely irrational and downright loony to believe in such a thing. Especially with the utter lack of evidence, most people refuse to believe Santa exists. You would not be able to gain a position of power with such a belief.***
Now, does God exist?
Well there have been numerous studies on this and we have found we cannot prove or disprove the existence of a God.
***Most people believe in absolute fullness without question that God exists despite the utter lack of evidence. It is easy to gain a position of power with this belief such as becoming the president of the superpower the United States.***
In conclusion we can see belief with lack of evidence tends to survive beyond childhood fantasies. The irrational belief without evidence just takes on a new form. I think we can also find it rather curious as to why the believer in God is respected while the believer in Santa Claus is laughed at.
The possiblity Santa Claus exists = The possiblity God exists.

Of course not no one would think that Santa would ever let such a thing ever happen.
See how much more insane religion is and how it has distorted the idea and purpose of God.

Hmm ... interesting...
Hmm ... we learn that Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc. is a lie pretty early in life. You'd think more people would speculate on the existence of God.So ... at what age do we learn that God was a part of that fairy tale?

God, in the Bible
...says, "prove all things." Even His existence. It can be done and God wants you to prove it. Try proving the myths and "holidays" propagated by the Catholic church as biblical. It can't be done. There is nothing Biblically, Godly in christmas, easter, or a Sunday Sabbath. And, Biblically speaking, God ain't happy about it.PerpetualNight

The Catholic Cardinal Gibbons, in Faith of Our Fathers, pg. 111, said, "You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we (The Roman Catholic Church) never sanctify.
The Catholic Mirror (a publication by Cardinal Gibbons) Sept. 2, 1893- "...the Redeemer, during His mortal life, never kept any other day than Saturday."
