SEX in Christ...

NOTE: I have my opinion about this already and I'm not going to mention it because I know it will be asking for a hammering.

I don't agree with any of the articles.

The site seems legit except for a couple strawmen arguments.

You can lend your own interperatation of the bible but either way someone will be accuse you of heresy or what have you.

  • LOL
Not bad. All satire, I assume. Won't accomplish anything though, really.

My opinion on the topic anyway is to use safe sex when you and the other party(ies) involved feel comfortable with it.

  • Not affiliated with a Church
My first concern is as above it has no affiliation therefore comes under no authority. Unfortunately there are a lot of mock Christians outthere whos sole aim is to ridicule Christianity and twist and ditort the truth to fit theirs or naive others needs. I have even come across this behaviour on Allpoetry. I would trust your own spiritual discernment through Christ and the advice and council of good Christian friends first and foremost. Plus there are a lot of forums outthere. The general concensus seems to be if it is demoralising don't do it... things seems quite vague though as people differ so much from one to the other. Personally I believe it is between yourself, your spouse and God.

I have to say the first time I read this, a while ago, I thought it was a joke. I honestly believe the site is just a way of justifying what people feel guilty for doing. Christians are feeling guilty for doing things that they are explicitly forbidden from doing, so they come up with ways around the problem, hence sites like that. They are entertaining to read (and seemingly written by men and for men -- especially the page on threesomes and oral).

I don't think that this can be taken for any real validity if your religion truly means anything to you.

Personally I have rather differing view on what God and the Bible have to do with each other, but if you believe in the book as a Holy Book of God then you can't take a site like that seriously.
