2008 Presidential Debate: Who Won?

So who do YOU think won the 2008 presidential debate between (D)Barack Obama and (R)John McCain? Post your thoughts on the debates.

I'll post my own thoughts as soon as I get some time aside to watch the debates. Currently writing a lab report while trolling AP

  • Consolation prize?
    Both of the candidates won, and america lost as usual. Bob Barr said it best. Americans won't know any more about the actual policies of the candidates after these debates are over. Both of them are virtually the same candidate in the first place, so how could there be a winner?

    I think Obama clearly did better. McCain said little specifics and spent most of the debate laughing and sneering at Obama and saying he doesn't understand or know stuff, in spite of Obama's well prepared and sharp answers. However I'm certain those who went into watching the debate in support of McCain were laughing and sneering with him, and believe Obama is a silly young politician that doesn't know better (age 47 btw. Senator of Illinois, which has a population of 12,852,548 Sarah Palin? Age 44. Population of Alaska? 683,478. Population of BROOKLYN, if you're wondering? 2,465,326. Wonderful. Well-prepared.)

    So sadly probably not too many were swayed. I only hope some were at least.
