Sure the bible was written a certain way and yes I am a baptist but at the same time I have a problem with believing all the bible says. I don't even know if Jesus or god had a hand in making it. My english teacher even told me some of it was provided by William Shakespeare. But at the same time even if it does it also says God loves all his children so how can god send them to hell because of them being gay or lesbian or bi? Even though some people are closeminded and believe that you chose to be these things you don't. Being gay is not some disease you catch or something you decide o I think I'll be gay its something your born with but realize in your own time. Some people keep inside so long that they've already been married had kids and are around 40 before they realize that they aren't happy with being with the opposite sex. First off if you don't like it you don't have to but your going to have to accept it. A lot of people are gay or lesbian or bi so you might as well get us to it. If your going to prejudice against people that are gay then I feel really sorry for you cause some of the sweetest people are gay. But like I said I believe god put us on this earth to make it a better place and live our life to the fullest and also be happy in it. As long as we follow the ten commandants and try to live our life like he wants us to live it without compromising ourself everyday.

The issue of Gay marriage is not a biological issue it is a legal issue. For instance without being legally married a couple looses many legal rights that a marriage license provides. Like issues of immigration, taxes, health benefits and survivor benefits. It’s about equality for all under the law regardless of personal opinion. Not some kind of moral crusade to protect God.

i believe it isn't really your problem what other people are doing in there own home. if two men want to be with each other or two women the they should beable to do that and be happy. no one wants to get mad when a man and a women are togther the only thing different is that they don' thave the same parts. if two men are in love let them be because you don't have to live that life they do and if they choose to live that way then it is non of your business

Why are you talking about religion in the first place? This is a legal issue, not a religious issue. Have you heard of the separation of church and state? Despite your personal opinions, people have the right to marry who they want to. What the important thing about marriage is that it is between two people who love each other. I am so sick of ignorant people. No one has the right to tell people who they should love, and gay marriage will be legal. It is the same as saying a mixed race couple can't marry to each other. You don't choose who you fall in love with. America is supposed to be the land of the free and everyone has the right to be happy. It is no one's business who people want to get married to because it is not anyone's life but theirs. Try to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Would you like to have your natural born rights stripped from you because of some stupid ignorant people? I think not.

Oh, I completely agree, I've always had a problem with the opinion in the bible that damned people just for liking members of the opposite sex. I think God's just a bit more open minded then that, eh?
I appreciate love when I see it...I mean, no matter what your gender or gender preference, I believe that you can have a soul mate, or someone that completes you in love and life in anyone. The perfect person for you can be opposite or same sex...If God's is love then I don't think it matters to Him.

First off we must realize we are not certain the first people were "Adam and Eve" in fact we have no clue if they had names at all. The bible should ALWAYS be viewed as a group of myths and fables. If two men love one another then what rational man could object? We do have evidence supporting that men and women are meant to reproduce, but none supporting who we should love. P.S- How are you a Christian, yet you do not accept that god or Jesus had a part in the bible.. HOW do you know which parts to trust, if any of them. And what if you are wrong about which parts you trust? Are you sure you’re not a Christian because everyone else is, or maybe you’re afraid of eternal damnation? Maybe you take the bible and pick out what you like, maybe you should rethink where you stand. Maybe… we all should..
