Caffeine seems to be just the right thing to wake me up. I lack concentration and energy at times so lately I’ve been trying energy drinks or coffee to give me a boost. But do you think it’s healthy? Do you think that it’s really helping?

Its a drug, take it or leave it.25% Voted for by Energizer Bunny, DartOfChaos.
Caffeine is a drug and it's not healthy in large doses. Caffeine may lead to birth defects, miscarriages, infertility, heart disease, and cancer. Of course studies on caffeine have yet to produce sufficient evidence for either side (much like marijuana studies), but if you're worried about your health, it's wiser to consume less of a product than mass quantities of it.

It's not healthy. It's a drug. You can grow dependent on it. My chemistry teacher said caffeine and speed had the same effects.

Caffeine is a drug. I have nothing against non-white drugs but caffeine, like every other drug, has its consequences. If you don't mind them, then use it when you need it.

yes, but tis like nicotine i do believe. You have it unneccessarity at first and you get a buzz and think "this is GREAT!!" but then when ur body becomes dependant u cannot function wihout it. all it is is another stimulant drug thing. Damn good stuff tho

It Depends...Voted for by Alexxx.
OK...I think this might be getting a little blown out of proportion. I drink coffee frequently but I normally drink it because I like it not because I need the energy. I think only time caffeine isn't good for you is if you...for a lack of better words, abuse it. An energy drink here and there is perfectly fine, but I wouldn't drink them every other hour around the clock to keep me going.
