It depends which news station you are listening to. I can say that Fox news is very supportive of Catholocism and other moral religions. As for the rest of the news, they all have their agenda, and some is to bash religion, in any form.

While the Church has wronged many people throughout its long history…I cant shake the feeling that the media is anti-Catholic…as in the fact that they SO STRESSED the fact that the Catholic Church has alienated America…which assumes that all Americans are religious progressives

for the most part. The media also thrives on sensationalism. There is definitely a majority of leftists in the larger news medias like television and print. If any of you listen to Rush Limbaugh, the bulk of his commentary is on news articles and programs where he comments on the leftist bias. Honestly, how often do you see positive commentary from the media giants on anything Christian? Where I live, Christian organizations make up about 75%+ of all social programs, but you never hear anything positive about any of them. I believe the media should present facts about big religion when they commit attrocities like sex abuse and whatnot. But they also tend to beat it into the ground. How about something positive once in awhile? I know it would be asking a lot to make it a 50/50 split of good and bad news.
