Biblical Inerrancy?

I have a website my mentor sent me. I’ve been pondering over religion and the Bible for years, and I’ve yet to come to a conclusion, but I want to know what the resident apologists think.

  • Not the same

The Bible is like most old literature, subject to the whims of the authors into whose hands it falls. The whole Mary Magdalene issue, proves that the Bible has been revised so often that it really isn't the Bible anymore.

  • Erm..

The author of this website assumes lots of things that should most definitely not be assumed. The part about how even today’s Bible should be entirely free of all translational or editorial errors does not make sense. The author assumes that every time the Bible is translated fully by a human it will be edited for any mistakes or discrepancies from the original by God, Himself. Also, the author assumes that God is the author of the Bible. In many places it was written that when a human made a mistake in writing it was the fault of God, and because God is all-knowing and the Bible is the Word of God the Bible is wrong. I have not read through the whole page, but what I’ve said here can defend everything that I’ve read on there so far. Perhaps I’ll read the rest later and see if I can come up with anything.

  • Inconsistencies

Please ignore the more frivolous points on things like measurement, the size of seeds and the locations of towns. It’s the Resurrection points that are interesting. There are a few good points regarding Ye Olde Testament, as well. Please reply with your thoughts.
