Parallel being

Parallel being: and never the twains shall meet
Euclid
  • The straight and narrow of it
Parallel straight lines are lines that, being in the same plane and being produced indefinitely in both directions, do not meet one another in either direction.
Do you feel similar about being on par with your online contacts though not meeting?

  • Not so much
A little bit, yes, because they do live their lives with little or not interaction but even some exchange of text feels like a connection. I think I feel more like a parallel like when it comes to celebrities and especially the artists I appreciate. Their existence is almost surreal to me, so when I do meet one, there is a strange "aura" about the circumstance.
