my perfect mate is tall and sweet and treats me like an equal…i wan a guy who looks at me and knows i can do what he can do if not more…i don’t want a guy who is condenscending…i don’t care about looks as a whole that is not the important part, the important part is the personality and the way he will treat me. i think every one has the basic ideas of a mate but people differ too much to have the exact same ideas about a perfect mate.

My perfect partner is sweet and makes me feel comfortable. They have to like exploring the world and living life to the fullest, and make me feel comfortable; I don’t want to be tense all the time if he thinks I’m silly or not. If he accepts me, and treats me kind and loves life just like me; he’s perfect. I dare say 100% sure that looks do NOT matter. I am serious. Most of the time, it’s the guys that don’t look like Brad Pitt or Ben Affleck or some actor or model, that are attractive – if you ask me.

I am a very active, determened, and strong person. So naturaly I would like a guy who can keep up with me on all levels. A person I would like would be like me. Very athletic, tall (A biggy since most guys are much shorter than me), kind, competive, loving, fun to be with, have a dangerous side to him, and looks matter too. (not ot the point that th face should be perfect, I hate perfect faces, but to the point that the person would be pleasant to look at).

My perfect mate should have very fair complexion i.e. snow white, medium in height, plumpy, healthy, with broad eyes and a bit naughty and some shy….....lol. She should be caring, trust-worthy and friendly. I will respect her a lot and will our love will be on equal footings…!!!

my “mate” will simply be who is right for me. at the moment i could not tell you who they will be because i havent met them yet. its easier to love someone if your not trying to fit them into certain catagories.

Of course there is a perfect mate, there is also an Easter Bunny, and Santa is definetly housed in the North Pole. I want someone as a refection of myself not completely though. I mean funny, smart, friendly, cute and spontanious. They can't be sexist, bad tempered or any have any strong prejudice. Maybe they have to be an atheist too. But that's not too important. They can't be creepy or too tall or huge. I know i'm picky. ^^ And in response to love is a myth, it's not perfection so much as preference.

You should strive to be the perfect mate for the person you love. Let the fact that you love her/him be the only qualification for "the perfect" mate. Any other definition of a "perfect mate" is just illogical to me.

I already found her, but I hold our specail frienship too close to risk it. She speaks her mind, she isn't afraid to try new things, she loved to be wierd (like me). She dresses like a hippie (she is only 18). She listens to music from the sixties, seventies, and eighties. She is poetic, funny, romantic, beautiful, wonderful, and so much more. And the thing is, I met her in my Sophomore year. She is amazing, entrancing, and enthralling. I love her.

I'm a major contridiction. I have my "idealistic person" in a story with a character who would resemble the "idealistic me", however in real life I would not care. The only thing that gets me is gender, that's how it is with everything. I'm so passive until gender is brought into the discussion, which naturally creates a major barrier between me and a heterosexual relationship. I think if I could find a girl who lacks any gender characteristics, much like I do, it would be a start. Otherwise, it's not going to happen. Although many MANY facts say I should've been a homosexual, I'm not, and I've never met a girl on the face of this Earth that I could become personal with to that extent.
However, despite my many nights of being lovesick and heartbroken, I stand by my believe that all you need in life are friends. I guess my romantic side will just go to waste.
