So?
First of all, philosophy is just a love of knowledge, so I consider most any thought or discussion for the sake of seeking information and someone else's feelings on a matter philosophy.
Second, this website is also a community and I welcome the occasional "off topic" discussion, so we can truly get to know each other rather than just a "professional" level. Whatever makes new members feel welcome is nice (because at least half the time these vampire fans or whatever also leave philosophy comments).
Third, I don't think we should go out of our way to stifle someone's creative imagination or make them feel stupid about it. I encourage people to explore this side.
And finally, it hardly ever comes up. If there are 5 topics on it I'd be surprised. If there was even 20 I wouldn't care because they're only here and there in a site with 100's of discussions. Don't go to a discussion you don't like.

Agreed
My opinion on this is opposed to that of the previous one listed. I don't visit this site often (hardly ever, in fact), but I think that the site should be all about philosophy. Creativity is nice, but there are plenty of other places to express it.
That is my opinion.

I agree. Consider this:
The Etymology of Philosophy is:
From Ancient Greek (philos)meaning beloved &(sophia), meaning wisdom.
