Now a look at religion. Since most spiritual traditions is virtually identical, and calls for us to love and accept one another. But....much violence and bloodshed seems to arise. Why is that?

Ah this old chestnut, again!
It is because every religion claims that it is the only way, well not every religion, but I think you are referring to the Abrahamic religions (Judaism,Christianity and Islam)here.
Basically, all these people are doing, are wasting their lives trying to convince each other that they're right and that everyone else is wrong.
On my way to work the other day i stopped off at a bookshop whilst waiting for the bus and I came across a book called "Fuck It! The ultimate spiritual way.". The title says it all really!
My advice, don't get caught up in religion, figure it out for yourself, don't get caught up in all this religious dogma, don't worry about it and just stick to being yourself!
Oh, and just had to add this, the title of your opinion kinda makes you seem very rigid and conservative!

it's a tale as old as time... it is by NO means "this generation"... did you forget about the crusades? the inquisitions?
the problem with the religious, not the religions themselves, is their obsession with being correct... the mere existence of an alternative calls into question their correct-ness and therefore is a threat...

bad parenting
listen to some dr. gabor mate, society has changed so much that the natural way of parenting hardly exists. (as in before humans had so many other goals -jobs, money- that they changed the way parenting is) when we bear children without the proper emotional skills such as empathy and attunement, as well as other natural skills - unconditional acceptance, consistence, etc. we cannot expect children to grow up healthy. they then form bad coping skills (eg. dissociation, addictions -drugs, sex, food, pain, etc). Also, the natural family is supposed to be quite large, incorporating elders etc - which is basically unheard of now, however having a large group of positive influence friend that are a regular part of the childs life is an acceptable substitute.
The problem is that in the next few generations just about all families will have converted into the new definition, which essentially means unless there is a complete system overhaul, the world is screwed. jaded sounding, i know, but very very true.

People are scared.
I guess i would have to say out of self created fear. Ultimately I say it is the fear of death. Nobody wants to die, theirfore it is only natural that nobody wants the perks that come along with death. Religion can be soothing to people. It gives them reason, and it in most cases gives them a life after death. The world has so mutch hidden information to offer, people who have collected some of these bits form religion off of it. They use the information gathered to give them the sense of knowing they are going to this spiritual afterlife. Along with this feeling comes, sense of purpose, happyness, and defense.Different religions are formed off of people who have seen spiritual guidance in different ways. Instead of joining them together for the ultimate religion, they keep their piece in a seperate one, to sustain a sense of mine is the best. Because that sense attributes towards their happyness. Because of this sureness these different religions form in people, they feel they must give others the same feeling. Theirfore holy wars are formed. They wage war against each other to convert them, and to help them become happy beings. Where ultimately they are corrupting themselves with the bloodshed you speak of. Any person that claims to be religious, and then tries to force their beliefs on another for their own good is a tool.
And I believe the chaotic nature of things is born of that spiritual fear. All theses religions form fears in people, especially the ones that have a hell. They will do anything to save their eternal soul, even if they think its to kill an enemy of their religion. Out of fear of dying, humans have strived to live longer. Dieting, medicine, hospitals, edjucating themselves in ways to avoid death. This is causing people to live longer and overpopulate the world, forming more differences. On the spectrum of eternity, our lives our less than a blink. Still knowing this we strive for extra living time. Originally humans were in peace, nomadic, working 3 hrs a day to survive. They stood up and thought, we dont deserve to die. Giving themselves a fear of a natural commodity. In their stride to survive, they have pinned themselves closer to death, than ever before. Now more frantic to escape their unatural fear of death, they push themselves harder to achieve the goal. All the chaos of the world is of people who want extra years on their life.
They never think of their heaven with an ensuring sense they will go their, and they never think about the time before birth. They cant remember being happy before they were born, but they also cant remember Ever feeling sadness or pain.
