As a History student I am asked to be critical at all times, and to remember that ALL things pass – the world will continue to evolve and every once in a while people’s ideals just globally change.
I am convinced that democracy is a phase, just like all the other political ideas in the past were, and in fact NOT thé solution. It will not save the world, it will pass and turn out to have been a waste of time. Do you believe in democracy?

And Bush should look up the difference between 'theocracy' and 'democracy'. Why? Because Iraq is now an effective 'theocracy'; such is the bane of a very dogmatic legislation based on Islam. Calling something that is so restricted from the roots a "democracy" is just going too far.

Constitutional RepublicVoted for by webdemon666.
You are right sir. A constitutional republic actually where there is a system of laws. The Constitution lays down a system of rules that tells the politicians what they can and can't do. Then the we elect people to make laws based on those guidelines, and the supreme court decides whether or not those laws are constitutional. a system of checks and balances are in place to make sure that peoples rights are not diminished in any way. Problem is that the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of our government have forgotten what their jobs are and to make things worse they have completely overlooked the constitution and what it represents. It represents a contract with the citizens of the US signed by our forefathers and handed down to the politicians and the citizens through the generations. But there is something you can do about it. You can go to the poles and fire the people that have no consideration for you and your rights. and are only concerned with attaining and maintaining power over you. If the politicians were doing there jobs they would realize that you are the one with the power. I think we need to wipe the slate clean, and hire a new crew that has actually read the constitution. That is the beauty of this country over all the other systems of government. If you don't like what is happening you can change it. As far as minorities are concerned I think that people put too much emphasis on skin color and less emphasis on what you actually believe in. I can't fathom the idea that someones beliefs or ideas are solely based on the color of their skin. I wish people would realize that we are all Americans and not African Americans, Irish Americans, English Americans, or any other type of Americans. We are just Americans. Those are titles designed to make people feel inferior. Please vote and vote for who you believe is the right guy for the job no matter what the color of his skin. That to me is racism at it's worst when people Put them into a little category and separate themselves from the rest of the country that is what keeps the racial BS going.

Letting the majority have their way may help when it comes to national calmth, but I’m convinced that there comes a point where you can’t deny minorities anymore. Democracy is NOT the solution.

Democracy is the highest term of government that is acceptedDemocracy is only a term that reflects the acknowledged power structure in America. Democracy is the puppet rule. The puppeteers are the ones who hold real power: corporations, interest groups, the populace, the media and the illuminati. The grand master puppeteer is a coven of men and women whose dreams lead consciousness and existence into the future. They work in the background and are not known. Only thirteen in a world of six billion. They report to only one other person: God.Voted for by Brew Kline.
