For Love Or Just For Kicks?

we are equal!

i think both sexes have their bad people who are in it for kicks not for love. some people are not ready for that some are terrified of it and depending on how long you are going out with a person depends on your reaction to them saying i love you, ifit is a short time you have the right to say things are going to fast but if it is after 6 months by then you should be feeling deep feelings for them and it is only natural for them to start to love you. but we even out in who is in it for kicks and who is looking for love.

    I hadn't thought she suggested it was bad thing to be in it for the kicks. But I agree, there really is nothignw rong with that, unless you go around deceiving the person and taking advantage of them for your kicks.

    it's okay, I may be misunderstanding her words, you may be seeing it correctly, but the way I interpreted it is people in it for the kicks are bad and they can come from both sexes.

    i didn't mean people who are in it for kicks are bad i meant the people who are in it for kicks just to hurt the other and lead them on...i have been in it for kicks but i told the other person that and there are people of both sexes who don't tell the other that they just let them believe they can get serious with them. thats what i meant sorry for the confusion. ~Ash~

My Biased Opinion

Sorry females, one day while standing in line to pay my high school fees' a girl said that the guy she was going out with dropped the "L-BOMB" which I immediately associated with the word love, and her friends all gasped and she said that she was going to end it with him, so she slowly called him and said that he was "going to fast" and that she would have to break up with him. that's where I got pissed (I damn near strangled her) apparently from what I heard she was only doing it for kicks. It appears to me that men are more romantic and women are more sex crazed to me.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but it goes both ways. Sometimes women will actually be in it for love, sometimes they just want fun, same thing with men. We are all only human you know.

I agree with newmiracle. Plus, whoever said that ALL relationships need to be about love and not soley kicks? This is in no way an established fact and should not be assumed to be so. If you're going into a relationship for love or nothing, you should probably make that clear, at least by subtly bring up how you don't like those who are only in it for the kicks. Not to mention this guy might HAVE been going too fast. If they've only been going out a week or a month or something and he's saying he loves her, that's a bit quick and even a little emotionally immature. If he's falling head over heels for someone he hardly knows, he's projecting things that aren't there onto her. If this is the case, it is only fair to break things off with the poor lug.

Please don't strangle her, we're all human. Some of us go through changes and people are so different...I wouldn't base your belief on that event or some events we're woman were that way. I don't think it's true at all. I don't understand why genders have to be so seperated. We're very alike, we just need to get to know eachother better-as in guys and gals.

Why is everyone defending her? If it were a guy that had done that you'd all be biting at his ankles like a pack of dogs. I personally believe that sex is for pleasure usually and if that's all there is in the relationship, that's fine, but don't change your attitudes just because a girl is the bad one this time.

It depends...

I've met some really immature guys and girls who are just in it for kicks. It depends on whether or not the person is looking for a lasting relationship and how mature. Coming from a religious standpoint, people (both men and women) who have a strong relationship with God tend to be in a relationship for the love and not for kicks.
