Who Am I ?

How do we define ourselves? Can we know our purpose or the meaning of life without fully knowing who we are? Isn't it possible that there are many meanings of life, depending on who is asking the question? But, Who Am I?

  • Still Searching

My likes and dislikes may make up characteristics of me, but it does not define me. It is not who i really am. But where do i search? How do i find out? Am i ready to find out? "Knowledge cannot spring up by any other means than the inquiry "Who Am I" Maybe it's a waste of time.

  • We are unknowing Gods

Our lives have infinite meaning, and NO meaning whatsoever.

I am no one, and I am everyone. I am a human to the Earth that I stand on, and I am the God to the world in my subconcious.

    Always, Sam

  • Continuous Construction

Our concept of self is constantly under construction. Who we think we are changes from day to day, depending on circumstances and how we choose to view past events. It is a psychological process that influences our actions. People change over time, start to view themselves differently (for good or ill)depending on how they interpret their lives. This is just a mental construct though. Maybe if you go deeper, beyond conscious thought and emotional resoning, there is a part of us that remains - perhaps accounting for our continuity of consciousness, and our sense of connection with others and the natural world.
