    Both love and hate can indeed coexist. My family isn't that close, and I really hate some of them with all my heart and soul. But then, I love them too ya know? They're family. Anyway, I think that as long as you know you love someone, you can hate them all you want and it won't make a bit of difference.

    Love and hate arn't the opperiste of each other, but they are both still strong FEELINGS, which is why they aren't oppersite as it still shows you feel something (even if it is hate) for them.

    The oppersite of Love, is Indiffrence.

  • They are equal.

    I believe, both love an hate are very strong things. In the recent London bombings their was a lot of love which, in my opinion cancelled out a lot of the hate, and i am sure hate could probly cancel out love, so i think that although hate and love are opposites they are very similar things.

    Love is much more harder to controll than Hate! You only get good things out of loving everything! But if you Hate everything, you only get everyone against you and you end up depressed! =)
