What does this mean?

In Matthew 10 the Bible says "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying,, Go not into the ways of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:" But isn't the Christian God supposed to be for all nations

  • yes, but not yet (or then as it were)

Well, yes he was, but almost in a not yet format. If you read other sections from the gospels Jesus even says to a Samaritan women at the well that he was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. He says something about it not being right to feed a dog (being this very women he was speaking to). It doesn't speak of going to all nations until Matthew 28 and Acts 1:8. Jesus original purpose was to come to the nation of Israel, but they rejected him and crucified him. I hope that makes some sense, if it doesn't let me know and I'll see if I can explain better.
