good and evil?22% Voted for by 5th position Gb, Aedon.
There is no good or evil. Only two sides with opposing views.

We're born inherently sinful (evil)22% Voted for by Evets, Lstjed.
We're born inherently sinful people, prone to do evil on our own, without prompting. It's possible, though, to correct this evil nature. That's why it's society's role to be the moral regulator of the next generation. We must teach and pass along our beliefs and ethics.

isn't evil relative to the societies accepted views?

evil measurerVoted for by painhelpsusfeel.
no i think it is not relative. i see it as, society cannot have a view on evil if evil cannot be measured. if a man (or woman) could say "murder is here on an evil scale *points* then abortion is here *points again*" there would be no need for other 'views', only the universally accepted view that something is 'this' evil, which would therefore be society's view because it would be the 'right' one.

inherent bubblesVoted for by painhelpsusfeel.
a person is born with two bubbles inside of them, one of good and one of evil. as that person grows, either the good bubble or the evil bubble is nurtured and so expands. when the expanding bubble is big enough, it swallows the other one. i.e the evil will surround the good and a person will become evil. the good will be there, but it is so far inside the evil it is difficult to see it.
