(truth) in politics

Do you believe there is any truth to be found in any political party and the respective lifestyles of either side? Either the left-wing "Level 3 veagans that use hemp and soy in everything they use in life" or the right-wing "burn down the world so that they can make space for mankind"

  I can't really abide to either side because their too busy trying to make you pick sides and let them set the standards. They offer the "best lifestyle" but they only care about winning political power. The truth in my mind doesn't exist in politics. Never has, never will

    "Truth in politics" is a contradiction of terms similar to "military intelligence." In all my 19 years on Earth, I've come to realize on thing about politics in America, it all boils down to which political party provides the tastiest ear candy to the proles, or more accuratly, which political party can provide the most backpay to the electoral collegiates. Bill Clinton (my textbook Democrat, since his presidency is the only Democratic one I've lived through) lied under oath concearning his morality, and good ol' Gee Dubya lied about the information he passed down to the populace in order to justify his oil war. Truth can exist in politics, but not until our country's leaders realize that their job is not to be a figure head, but to provide for and nurture the citizens and defend their rights, not take them away.
