OK Genius... How do you think we are supposed to do that? How do we create world peace short of eradicating every human on earth. Even if we had one exalted ruler, every person on earth would have a problem with another group in some way. Which is the case here. All I hear from the liberal public in America and abroad, is "World Peace Now" but I never hear any Ideas on how that is supposed to be accomplished. So, What Is your big plan for world peace. Is it to try to reason with the people that have no respect for life and want to take the heads of 4 million Americans, or do we use brute force to make them think like us? If you think about it, making them think differently than they do now is oppressive. Or, do we do it through a strict law system world wide. Well the people who are breaking the laws of the UN are being chased as we speak and the people of the world are saying that that is wrong. So, What do we do about it? In war there is bloodshed on both sides. That is just the way it is. We are trying to bring these criminals to justice and 51% of the American public is against that. Why? Because our troops are dying? That's what happens when two groups with different philosophies are pitted against each other. Try to reason with them and the problem gets worse. Fight them and the problem is diminished for a while until some other radical leader comes along. Sometimes you need to fight for what is right, because people lie. They can tell us that they aren't going to blow anything else up in the name of Alla, but it would Be just that A lie, because that is what they do. That in their mind is their job. To Kill the Capitalist American pigs. Or, do you Think that you would be willing to just give in and start wearing the Muslim religious garb that covers your entire body but the eyes. Are you willing to give up all of your rights and spend your entire life as a servant of your husband? Not even being able to decide who that is going to be. Are you willing to give up the right to speak freely or worship the religion you believe in, or the right to not worship at all. Are you willing to give up your right to be educated and work hard for the things you need and want? Are you willing to give up the right to protest the things that you believe are wrong. In this country we all have rights, We live in a capitalist society where everyone has a chance to succeed and live happily, and not to be told what to do and how to spend or even how much money you can acquire, or the things that you can purchase. We live in a free market where if there is something that you want you can buy it. If we were to give up those rights we would not have the things that we have. If we lay down and decide not to fight, they will over run us and those rights will cease to exist. We have a system that is democratic but not a true democracy. A system that is referred to as "the great experiment." The way you change the government we have is by going to the polls and voting your conscience. Just because you don't always get the candidate that you want doesn't mean the system is flawed or unfair. The thing is any other system of government would be. Look at the governments around the world. Would you want those systems in place. Or would you rather anarchy be established? Funny thing about anarchist the call the police when they have been wronged just like everyone else. They try to get government assistance when they are down and out and they don't vote, then bitch about who is in the white house. Anarchy would be a system of chaos and eventually they would pick a leader to take care of the problems brought on by anarchy itself. that my friends would be a government. So let's hear it. Give it to me. What would be your idea of a perfect government. who would you put in office to fix the world? What system of government would you prefer? I'll be monitoring this one and I will rebut with no mercy.

Just because the ability is there does not mean it is reachable. As long as you have 2 separate hearts beating on this Earth you will also have the "ability" of conflict too.

Who came up with this idea of world peace? Whoever it was, he should be castrated and jailed for life. World peace is a fantastic impossibility. Why? Because people, myself included, want what they believe is right. If I thought it was right to illegalize something, and I did, I would feel satisfied, and would feel that it was a step towards a better global community. But then, when someone is punished for breaking that law, my belief and his/her beliefs come into conflict. Conflicts like that are unavoidable. Look at all this "legalize marijuana" b.s. Some think it should be legal, some no. So who's right? When both sides have defferent deep-seeded beliefs, there can't be a neutral agreement between them. There is no ability to create world peace. Unless of course, you would like to begin a massive sterilization effort to cut down the population to a point where no one ever sees more than a few dozen people in their lifetime. That's an idea, is it something you think is right though? Assuming that you would like to procreate, or see humanity procreate, no. So please STFU. Everyone who thinks that world peace is attainable is oblivious to not only human history, but all philosophy, political, spiritual, whatever. For those of you who are Christian, have you read the Bible? God doesn't even want world peace. Why do you think he supported and insighted so many wars? The old Testament is basically just an outline of the first war/genocides over that anointed dirt in Israel. What power will ever be able to convince the warring religions to give up their faith? None, absolutely none. It's never going to happen. Sorry for being honest, but give up all hope, you're wasting your time.

To create world peace we need a universal government that is able to police the globe. The problem is class struggle once world economy is set up the people at the bottom will always be using militant terrorism to show their struggle. World peace would mean constant terrorism and this is beginning to sound like current events. Idealism and politics in my opinion do not mix.

Sometimes a person's prejudices and stupidity are just so profound that I have to stepaway from the keyboard and have a nice cuppa. You, and everyone who voted for your comment, are the first ones to have accomplished this today. I can't even begin to argue with/correct everything that is detestible about this entry, because my fingers would fall off before I finished.
