number of the beast

Mathematicians and theologins have recently made a discovery which might interrest all those who take the bible as the word of God. From examining the oldest copy known they discovered that the number of the beast isn't 666, it's 636 all you satanists have been going about it wrong and you bible-heads have been interpreting a flawed and mistranslated book. How does this affect christianity, any theories and no quoting scripture, it's all just hearsay anyway.

  • Number Of Man

I am a Spiritual Satanist. The number 666 is the number of man. The many texts that the bible was pieced from, and the bible itself says that it was pieced from other books, I have read it more than once, state how the number 666 is the number of man, not of a beast, not of anything holy, or unholy.

even if it did turn out to be 636, 616, w/e, it's all just in theory anyway, this is religion not fact. that and i seriously doubt that anyone could ever convince the majority of this world that 636 is the right number, 666 is already in their heads, it isn't coming out their too stupid to reason, right?

  • prophecies

First I don't believe in prophecies much, it's much better to go on in life doing the right and responsible thing to do. Buddha's father believed in a prophecy and the whole of Buddha's life was affected because of that. How much of Divine will is in that, I don't know that. As for the no. 666, it seems to me like the scorpion's mark with the curve and the sting on top.

  • The Number of The Beast

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

  • Textual errors

I heard it was 616 not 636, but no matter, your point remains the same. My thoughts in this matter. The number doesn't matter. Numbers are symbolic in John's revelation letter and in many other books throughout the Bible. As far as mistranslating stuff, have you ever tried translating Greek or Hebrew? It is mind boggling. There are grammar mistakes and probably misspelled words and many other textual errors, but the message doesn't change. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save the world from their sins, and this textual error does not change that.

  • The Origins Of 666

well the whole thing about "666" being the number of the beast...was stated originally in the " book of solomon" not the bible. The exact text is as follows

" Asmodeus the grand baphomet risen from nothing; illuminated by everything. Beckon herein to aid Solomon in the construction of the temple. The digit herein marks a temple of the devil; that digit is 666 and see's to absolution"

You see there was this custom in those days that having three of something was ideal. This philosophy of having three objects was considered perfect. For example it was better to have 3 cow's instead of 4, with 4 you'd supply more milk and meat in the end but you'd be exercising outside of perfection. The number 6 first show's significance in the " Book Of Goitia" ( the 3rd chapter in the book of solomon). In this chapter the discussion of devils comes up, expressed notablly in the " Lesser Key Of Demons". The text is as follows

" And therein lies pure evil; 50 demons lie in void and tempered time. the tomb solomon nods by sun striken and obliged. there set the sixth digit; marking the sixth tomb of evil"

So this basicly says that six is an unholy number. later on the triple six shows up, which loosly represents " perfect imperfection".

you speak of "636" i'd love to hear more about this and your source. email me --->
