I have often ponder why we, the human animal, were giving awareness of self, liner time, and our own mortality. If we exist simple to reproduce, why be aware. We just needed to be at the top of the food chagne, not aware of it.

i personally believe we are aware because we eveolved to fast. what i mean is we noticed things and tried to make our lives simplier to survive we had to simplify everything and in simplifying everything we gained intelligence. i do not know why we speak i still cannot figure that one out but i do believe we forced ourselves to be aware and to fell things by taking the easy way out all the time. cuz you know every generation since the beginning of people has has their lazy slackers who invent thinsg to make life that much more easier.

I don't know if it was a mistake but I understand whyVoted for by happysassycassie.
in order to grow in anything we need to understand how it works. Children have a basic understanding of grammar and how it works just from speaking it but eventually they come to a point where in order to grow any further they need to sit down and study the mechanics of grammar. The same with intellegence, communication, logic...etc. We came to a culmunation of how much we could learn about ourselves and about our world without becoming conscious beings. I also believe that it was at right around the same time that we became sentient that we invented gods. This 'consciousness' was scary - we needed answers and quickly.
