Why are there so many Stupid People on earth.. Or is it just to many Poeple doing Stupid stuff.

I think there are way to many stupid people because they keep doing the same thing over and over again even when they fail more then once. But People also do way to much stupid stuff. They retry the same thing becasue the think it is fun. They also do stuff the people want them to do with out thinking. They are way to willing to please no matter what the cost just to be accepted in the work place, school, or Peers. Well my thougt is that there are just stupid people doing very stupid things even though they have little to no intelligence they can still figure it out that they are getting played and will not fit in no matter what they do.

I think a person who does a stupid activity is then characterized as stupid. How often they engage in stupid behaviors shows the level of stupidity they are at. So all people are stupid to a degree. As for why there are so many stupid people, I'd say it is because we do not know all things therefore we must try and figure things out, even if the way seems stupid to others or even ourselves.

There is a difference between stupidity and ignorance. Ignorance is not knowing you are doing something wrong. Stupidity is knowing something is wrong and doing it anyway. I see stupid people on TV and in our schools teaching our children, but you have to wonder about the people that watch the shows knowing the show has people saying stupid things, and continue to send their children to be tought by people they know to be stupid.

Your failure to use proper grammar, i.e. 'Are there too many stupid people...' makes an interesting point about a stupid question. Do you realize how uneducated you sound at the very same time you've sat in judgement of the intellectual capacity of others? Socrates was wiser than the Sophists simply because he acknowledged he wasn't wise. Maybe you could learn something from that. Unfortunately, when one thinks one knows so much, they inhibit their capacity to learn anything further. Um... good luck.

It seems to me that it is mans nature to allow his passions and disires to over ride his judgement, and that we as humans tend to find things to justify that which we find advantage in, where do you think liberals come from,they're not stupid, they just refuse to let logic interfear with thier goals and agendas.

actually all people are created equall.so it means the opertunity to develop one self is given equally to all in nature.its just people dont think of the conciquences before doing somthing.the reason why they dont think of the conciquences is because they dont blieve in God.July 16, 2005

Fay, let me answer Tolstoytheboy's curosity.
You seem for the most part to be an educated individual and that is your biggest flaw. You have the adacity to challenge people based on the fact that have based there faith behind a book,and yes it is only a book; but nevertheless, you yourself use rhetoric from other books, other authors to justify and attack people for the foundation of there faith. Before you become the epitomy of a "scholar", try questioning Kant, Schoppenhuer, Freud, Jung, Durkheim, Nietzsche, and stop wasting your time attacking people for there faith. The biggest question you should be concerned with is the pragmatic implications of a religion? How does it benefit the individual or how does it benfit the mass? Analayze from the micro to the macro. Please give you areason god exists?... Well one day I built a "bomb", but for some reason the aftermath of this explosion left an entity with so much order so much detail, so much what?
