What are qualities that you look for in a best friend?

What are the things that you look for in a best friend. May this person be your girlfriend, relative or anyone else. So you get a certin feeling, or do you have certin expectations ect.


  • Understanding

    Something I look for in a friend is understanding. It is very important to have people in your life who just "get" you. No questions asked, they just know and you don't have to explain anything. It's like having your feelings and emotions in sync with one another.

  • The Truth

    I believe one of the many things I share with my friends is the fact that they know everything about me, and still like me. One of the most important qualities to me is trust. You should be able to tell your friends something really important, and not have to worry about it being repeated. At least I know that is how I am. True friends are rare, when you find one you have to hold on!

    I have a vest friend whom I have none since the 4th grade. I knew she was my best friend the day I told her my deepest secret, and she didnt run. Instead she suooprted me I knew from then on that I could trust her with anything and everything and she would support me instead of judge me like most others would.

    A friend is a trader not a looter. To create one must destroy. Destroy that destroys long term happiness & you create that which cultivates long term happiness. I have one friend & that is truth. I have no commitment to faith only to reason thus destroying the mystical.
