Does Anyone have anything against lesbians or gays? Do you really think that they'll "go to hell?" Why is it so wrong to love someone Just because they are the same sex as you?

there is nothing wrong with the wants and needs of someone else. One has the right to love whom ever he/she wants to love. I believe in love and love comes in different shades.

I'm not one to judge anything anymore after my experance with homosexuality. I myself am homosexual and at one point in time thought that I was wrong and had no chance of being forgiven by any sort of god. Later though I met a few other people who were part of some sort of church orginised support group to help gays. It turned out that everyone there thought the same thing I did but once I got to know them I didn't see how any of them could be damned, most in fact were more godly then most of the straight poeple in church. I think that homosexuality itself is not bad as long as you act with kindness and respect too others just as a straight person is _supose_ to act twords everyone including gays.

I can tell you only this. I disagree with homosexuality on the grounds that the God I believe in said it was wrong. Sure, there are other reasons, but that is the main one. I don't hate people who are gay. I've found some of them to be my better friends. But in the end, I disagree with their sexual preference. You might say that it is not a choice, and I might agree. But I also disagree with my straight friends who have sex outside of marriage feel those sexual compulsions naturally. In the end, even so, it is always a choice. We can't help what we desire most of the time, but we can help how and if we act on those desires.

Why should it matter to other people? It's not their life? why would one want to control anothers? If they like or rather love someone of the same sex, why should they not be granted that as a free choice rather than have other people say no and make it see "wrong" so be with the one person they want to be with. And as for religion mixed in with this subject, i really don't care what the church says, i don't think they should have a say in this. It is ultamitly not their choice anyways, so why bother screwing with other's lifes and making them feel bad?

I would love more than anything with every bone in my body to say that it's wrong in every way that something that could be wrong, BUT I choose to deal with it as long as they don't go overboard. (homosexuality is basically a fetish that has been accepted whereas they don't have S&M pride parade)On a high note, I have many gay friends and a gay cousin and I don't believe sexuality is grouds for exlusion.

It says in the bible that homosexuality is a horrible thing. In Romans 1:26-32 it says: "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Futhermore it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind , to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."
These are very strong words and cannot be overlooked about homosexuallity. So my opinion is that homosexuality is sin and therefore bad like lieing stealing and murder.

i believe that the idea of being gay or lesbian is not about the bible or what god would have done as many of you have said. it's tyhe morals of the society we live in and whether you culture embraces or rejects homosexualty is the question you should ask.

as homosexuality is not the norm, i think it should not be shown and almost forced upon some people. i can walk down the street and see men kissing and its supposed to be ok. it is not normal in any way and i now feel that we are far too politically correct as it is being shoved in our faces
