Religion Vs No Religion

  • Religion Vs No Religion

Its a fact that we ourselfs, humans, are not intelligent, or evolved enough to understand life or religion, purpose and all the reasons as to why we are here, not knowing everything there is to know about space and so on…. in my opinion living life to the restrictions or rules of religion is potentially a waste of time, after all we only live so long and religion is only based on books and thoughts…. not fact and proof, i would rather live out my life the best way i can than live it out in a restricted and somewhat less enjoyable way based on a story someone has told me, or a book i have read. Its just not worth it, you only get one chance, and even if you dont… say we do get an after life, we wont know about it till we get there. What im saying is that, im not against religion in any way at all, if you enjoy what you are doing and feel its the right thing to do then by all means its the best way to live out life.

Life to me though, is about doing whats right because i live by what i know and not guess’s, i have only one chance and life is all about being happy, having fun, meeting and socialising, learning and love. I will try to live life the best i can to fufill this before i die.

Untill we know what the subject in question is by fact and evidence, why beleive it to be true?

surly we should question it, research it, learn about it, realising its not final untill we know with proof.

Also another point i would like to make is, its not just questioning one thing with two outcomes, does it exist or not, its questioning every religion, and how many differnt religions are there, this is the main reason i dont have a set religion, because… i feel people only beleive in it because they are mostly grown up into it. I base things on percentages, and chance, and the chance nothing exists but what we know about over the chance that possibly self created ideas dont exists just seems more likley…. example, lets say i beleive in christianity, does that then therfore make every other religion man made nonsence?

And on that question i will stop, i simply am only writing off the top of my head because i am in a mood to, i think alot like this when i am very tired. Im 17 and this is the first thing ive added to allphilosophy. ive obviously got a long way to go in life, but writing this has made me feel that i was questioning before how peoples opinions can be so strong, when they have just made up their mind in life they are older, i am still no where and am in the middle…. altho i wasnt born into a religious lifestyle and many people were which is what i dont like, i dont like the fact that religion can be influential. I’d rather make my own mind about going to church than getting forced to go by parents when im under 10 and still young enough to not even understand the basics.

  • There is simply no contest

No matter how you try to deny, disagree, or apologize for it, the simple truth remains that faith is the antithesis of curiosity. Whenever you place your faith in something, you immediately remove your curiosity in it. If you have faith in God, you need not have curiosity of any of the questions posed by deism, for God has answered them for you.

This is why faith is a very, very dispicable thing. It is evil and inhuman to surrender your compassion and your instincts to the will of a social machine that exists merely to perpetuate itself.

But, beyond just evil and counterintuitively, inhumanely ignorant, faith is simply the product of culrtural idiocy. A stupid person is infinitely more likely to be a deist than not. As much as we all like to say "well, some scientists are Christian," this is facetious; Einstein was not Christian as most believe, and any scientist who actively seeks knowledge of the physical world is, in reality, defying the word of God as presented in the Bible. And for that, scientists are heroes.

Anyone who has faith has ignorance, by requisite. Renounce faith, and you will gain knowlege. And with knowledge, you will gain a passion for life and living, as you will realize that the reality of existence is all we have, not the non-reality of deistic social control mechanisms and half-hearted anti-humanities of Christian doctrine. Embrace whats' in your heart: love for your fellow man and yourself, not for the edicts of a Church who hates love, who loves hate, and who would only have you live so that you may die.
