That chapter is called the *"regulations for Godly appointed Judges"* : Hence the verse; A Judge should judge fairly and equally, or as put in the Bible; "Judge an Eye for an Eye." _____ *"Thou shalt not Murder"*, not, thou shalt not kill. Which is, a very big difference, in the meaning.

So what's with "An eye for an eye" and "Though shalt not kill". Contradictory by any means...

I think that a true word of God would be followed by reasoning or explanation to endorse it. Therefore, if something does not seem right, logical or wise, I have reason to believe it is not the word of God and so contradictions could arise.

also i what you read when you go into a shop and buy is the word of god, its not its problem more likely to be the word of the medieval priest or when it was first compiled the fact that they left out gospels because it didn’t quite sound like Jesus. so think again if you think its the word of god and not just some stupid fat priest in the middle ages that deicide tat would sound better or more beneficial to them did you now the reason for the S island … because English scholars thought they would make English sound a bit more like Greek so stupid
