Who created God?

I don't believe in God but I've always wondered if he were real, who created him? I mean, he created everything in the universe right? but who created him/her? And who created the person that created God? and so on?

  • god is love

I don't remember where, but i'm sure you've all heard the phrase from the bible "god is love", a phrase such as this, transcends all religions to a place were we can all agree on. What is love? why is it, that in a world run, supposedly, on darwins survival of the fittest, that it feels good to just help someone? and furthermore, why is it that when someone helps you, you feel like helping someone else? "one good turn deserves another." The way i see it, there are two forces at work here, the darwinian idea of evolution, and... something else... what is order? Anyway, this fits into the idea of what is god that, i believe that love exists, love has ramifications, as does fear. the question is 'Why?' this thing called love, that has no tangible existence, rules our entire universe, merely by CONNECTING things together, me personally, i'm not sure whats behind these connections, but it does give me the whillies...

  • Who Came First....

I feel like I have stepped into a theological...who came first the chicken or the egg. It comes down to this, with all the contemplation, will you ever know who came first. The Chicken or the egg. Let me know, if you figure out. Personally, the question should be does he exist or not.

  • Stirring..

The way we learned about it in a comparitive study of religion is this:

God is an unconditioned reality, not bound by the laws of mankind, neither bore, nor incured, via the labors of a maternal womb. This is at least my idea, after learning from my professor.

Allow me a moment of clarity with whomever may read this.. Unconditioned reality as I noted above is not bound by the physical realm of time and space,as we know it, to be unconditioned is to be impervious to anything and everything. transcedent- beyond time and space. Therefore, this being needs not a creator, or catalyst to spur about it's existence.

  • Humanity did.

Not cuz we want to think we're special but because with the solace of God and religion, death and dying, life and living would be that much scarier. Enforcing laws by threatening the wellbeing of your 'immortal soul' is so much easier than just saying 'don't do it'. If we did not exist, neither would God. God doesn't pressupose the world, the world predates God. We existed, then the idea of God did, because it makes life less lonely. If you believe in God, more power to ya; you, apparently, need that belief to live your life well, and live it morally. I, however, don't.

  • Too Inferior

I simply beleive that humans are too inferior to understand how, why, when, where, and what God is. I also beleive our brain isn't cut out for understanding that maybe there isn't a God, or if there is what the real purpose is. Human minds need to think up these ideas to keep sane and have something to live for. So who made God? The mind of desperate humans.

  • God is above physical laws

Like the title says, God is above physical laws, and with that, He is not constrained to having to be created because the laws of creation are what He made, therefore He is above them. Simply put God couldnt be created because he created creating.

Whatever is, must be first, for the next to come next. The first must always be and never not be.

This is a must be law, or you have the ultimate paradox.

So something must have been here, to make more things.

You cannot make life from nothing, or a rock from nothing, without that first infinite catalysts.

So if we all can agree; that in order for any theory or belief to be true, we need an infinite beginner of beginnings. a spec of dust even, is a beginning.

Wouldn't that beginner of beginnings, let themselves be known to their own creations? And wouldn't it be illogical to think that the infinite creator was a mere spec of matter?

This is why God only gives us one explaination that sums it up: God says, "I am, THAT I Am."
