Should a perfect, all-knowing God be suprised when man turns evil to the point that he destroys them and tries again?

Morality of Man9% Voted for by LaBelle, perfectdrummer, DreamingSpirit, Jesusquest, exquisite mind.
When God first made man, it was perfect. Adam and Eve were both sinless at the beginning of time. Their heart beat as one with God. Yet it was man’s morality, not God, that made man imperfect. Eve gave into temptation, as did Adam. God did not want a world filled with evil and strife. He wanted a beautiful world. But we were tempted. And anyone in Eve’s postition would have done the same thing. God made man. But He did not make man evil. He made man to glorify Him, because He deserves all the glory. Aren’t you glad He made you?

God is NOT perfect!9% Voted for by Psyche, CLoUdY, lil black cat, reaper of chaos, Eye-Beam.
If God is perfect, why is he a jealous God? He does not allow worship to other Gods, therefore he’s jealous. God is NOT perfect if he truly exists.

To Have Something to Watch9% Voted for by Psyche, pozo, justJane, Sachiel Hijikata, ohsweetie2788.
Since God is perfect, it would stand to reason that he would have a perfect sense of humor and what is more humerous than humans?

Because being a perfect beings, he believed in us. He gave us freewill and let us rule ourselves. And sadly I think he still believes in us. Wow, do we prove him wrong everyday.

I would ask people to define “perfect”. What does perfect mean in your mind? Does it refer to someone who does no wrongs, or does it refer to something totally wonderful?

If God is perfect, why did he make man?3% Voted for by Psyche, reaper of chaos.
If God is perfect, why did he make man? “Well,” say the Christians, “man was pretty good. They choose the path of evil and disbelief, starting with Eve and Adam (in that order), and that fault cannot be attributed to God.” Well, I say, if God made all and knows all, and can’t be fooled or suprised, why did he eventually have to destroy the First Man with the Flood and try again with Noah? Shouldn’t he have known when he created the First Man that they would all turn evil and he would have to destroy them and try again?

if god exists3% Voted for by ohsweetie2788, qwestman.
if he truly exists then he made man to play a game with. we are his pawns who he enjoys seeing in pain and confusion and angry and passionate and decietful, he enjoys watching our faults since he supposedly has none…again that is if he truly exists i right now and not sure.

Maybe He Was Lonely3% Voted for by Annabel Lee, xSoxColdx.
Maybe he was lonely, and decided to make us. In which case he gave us all souls, well some of us. Angels didn’t have souls, they had no feelings, but we do. And maybe he finds that humorous or pleasing. He’ll influnence us with the issues we take on. Still, I believe he just got lonely, and felt he should make people. But I doubt he knew it’d turn out like this.

Strength And Beauty Always Express Themselves3% Voted for by Mujtaba H Zaidi, DreamingSpirit.
No one can blink the very fact that both Strength and Beauty contain the utmost desire to reveal their qualities. And Almighty God is not only the Strongest and the most Beautiful, but also He has showered His qualities upon humans, birds, animals, seas, mountains, fountains, jungles, meadows, trees, gardens, valleys, hills, brooks, grass, flowers, leaves, skies, earth, galaxies, moon, sun, star, planets and so on…......................Everything present in the world and existing in the world is indeed the revelation of the strength and beauty of the most Powerful and the most Graceful. We the ordinary humans want offspring to preserve our generation/strength and beauty. And all that we contain is mortal and fast diminishing. But the powers of Almighty God will remain forever and ever…................................

Is it not possible that all things are one3% Voted for by Psyche, CLoUdY.
I think this song I know put it best “Today young men on acid realize that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one conciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is just a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.”

Your answer3% Voted for by the finer point, DreamingSpirit.
Man was not just “pretty good”. Man was perfect, why else does man now in vain strive for perfection? Man sinned, and that corrupted man’s nature, and God, because He loves man (which is His creation, and which good human does not love his own creation?), chose to offer redemption for that corrupted nature, and that redemption’s name is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Son of Man, who gave himself up for man’s salvation. It’s pretty sweet, and if you ever feel depressed, Christ can fix that. If you ever feel unfulfilled, He can fulfill you (and will, if you let him). Trust me, I know, from my own experience. You want joy? That’s what Jesus got. in Christ and God bless, Evan

The aboriginals of this world, are dark colored, so why do some people believe that god is white, when the africans were here, over hundreds of thousands of years ago, maybe over one million years ago. I don’t know. My ancestors, were here 15,000 years ago, and I don’t know when the belief of God even started. Or religions.
