What the hell is wrong with you? Do you people COMPLETELY skip over Jesus begging for you to LOVE your neighbor? What happened to hate the sin love the sinner? Volenteer at a soup kitchen, an anmial shelter, volenteer to help teach autistic kids, work on creating a charity or work for one already in place. Phelps is such a yellow-belly, he can only go after people who are dead, because they cannot fight back, and his church is nothing but a load of inbred, booze-swilling, hypocrites. Phelps himself molested his own children, and lost his license to practice law, because he was found guilty of perjury and extortion. look it up on wikipedia, if you don't believe me.

I, personally, suppourt Gay Rights of any kind. Maybe this is because I was raised in a very open family with a gay uncle and a lesbian aunt who I am close to as well. Ever since I was five and my aunt began dateing a woman named Christy. (It was a relationship that would last ten years until Christy decided she wasn't a lesbian anymore and kicked my aunt out of the house she had paid for.) From my earliest childhood memories I can recall Christy and my aunt holding hands and kissing. Never was it odd to me and never did I think it was 'weird' or 'wrong.' To me thier relationship was no different than my parents, sometimes the 'dirty' lesbians even had a better, more functioning relationship than my parents, who were prone to bouts of fighting at the time. These beliefs have carried over into my fragil 'teenage' years where a lot of yound kids begin to question their sexuality. At the age of fifteen I have already dated a girl and saw many of my friends engaged in homosexual relationships. Peers of mine have even came out to me because they have no where else to turn when they know their parents and friends would not take kindly to any thoughs of being 'gay.' These kids who I have went to school with for years know me enough to relaize I will understand and try to help them with something a lot of people would simply turn their backs on. I am truly glad and touched that people veiw me in this way. Anyone who can not see that homosexuality and even bisexuality is a normal thing! All of you redneck, jesus rolling idiots need to step off of your pedastools and realize that heterosexuality is not normal...Just common. Who are you to tell a lesbain or a gay couple that what they have and what they feel for each other is wrong? I am sure there are plenty of things all of you gay bashers do that I would consider morally wrong...That doesn't give me the right to harass you and take away your rights. I am sick and tired of people judging each other because of the way they dress, their religion, and their sexuality. We are all the same on the inside and no one is any better than the other.

The reference that Jbayme mentions is 1 Cornithians 6:9-11. It mentions homosexuality with a bunch of other things that will not allow people to get into Heaven, including lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, idolatry, and cursing. But it also goes on to say, "Some of you were just like that, but now you are set apart for God and God has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done." That's what my TLV version reads...so basically it's saying, on their own people who do these things cannot get into Heaven, but with Jesus they are forgiven. It also could be implying that none of these things exist in Heaven, which is also true, because their is no sex or marriage in Heaven, sorry. :) See? A gay person can be Christian...as the bumper sticker goes, "Christians aren't perfect...we're just FORGIVEN." As for the "consequences" of our actions, with God's love there are none. See Romans 8:1, for example: "There is no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Jesus Christ." (TLV) We may be JUDGED, but not CONDEMNED. Condemnation (Hell) is for unbelievers, not for believers who weren't "good" enough. If we had to be "good" enough to get into Heaven, no one would be in Heaven, because we are HUMANS with HUMAN WEAKNESSES (sins)!!!!!!!! We will be judged on our deeds, but God's forgiveness will overrule any consequences awaiting us. We also can be judged to be rewarded...for example, take a contest. We are JUDGED in a contest, but not PUNISHED. So God may reward some believers more than others. But believers are not condemned. Romans 8:1, people!! :)pnktrky
