Even if you are not a Christian, do you think it's right for them to be put to death for what they believe?

The reason I put this up is because of what is happening in the Sudan... the Muslim army from the north invades the the southern part of the country where the Christians live. They kill the men, enslave the women and children, and force them to travel the long road up to the north. Many times, the women who have young babies, have their little child strapped to their back while they are forced to march, listening to their baby's cries for food, only to have the child grow quiet as the day goes on.. These women know that their child has died because of heat exhaustion and dehydration. Along the long road up to the north country, women are raped and when the men are done with them, they cut off the women's breasts and leave them to die in the desert.. Children are forced to learn the Koran, and turn from their Christian up bringing... Christians are being slaughtered world over for their faith, a faith that they won't cast aside in the face of death. Do you think it's right, for a Christian to die for their belief? Do you think that they should be shut up when their brothers and sisters are dying by the sword, the gun, and fire all over this planet? In Canada, preachers are put in jail for teaching what's in the Bible, because his message may be on homosexuality and how it's a sin. Even if you are a homosexual, you who value your freedom of speech, do you think that someone should be jailed for exercising that same freedom? Christians are not discriminating against you! We dont' like what you do, but that doesn't mean we don't love you! The USA is rapidly becoming like Canada, Christians are quickly losing all rights, don't we deserve the same rights and privileges that you do?

  • umm... crusades much?

yes... it is VERY, VERY wrong what they are doing... though... i believe christians sang a different tune during the crusades... i'm not condoning the killing... it is WRONG... but... it is called karma... and karma, can be a bitch... but let me reiterate, that i, in no way, condone the killing, raping, segregating, or in any way harming, people based on their beliefs, color of skin, or sexuality... in fact... i, in no way, condone violence at all.............................. christians are not losing rights.... in fact they are treated as supirior... 58% of americans are christians, they will NOT be losing ANY rights in the near or distant future... you cant act like a victim here.................. and by the way, if being assulted, ridiculed, or harmed based on belief is so very wrong to you... i ask that you consider how christians treat homosexuals, and non-christians... ...................................... and on the "preachers being jailed thing... do YOU think that the klu-klux-klan should be able to "PREACH" against blacks? it's the same concept... "PREACHING" against homosexuality (or against any group of people, except political parties) is classified as a hate-speach... which SHOULD be illigal in the states, and IS illigal in canada........................

  • If you want to...

Dying for your beliefs, or killing for them, is really one of the most ridiculus things humanity has done. What is the point? Some wonderfull afterlife, in the name of atrocities on Earth? You are not your beliefs, you are not even you, so dont be afraid to deny some part of you in order to survive. Unless, you really want to die for something that is as ghostly as an opinion.

  • of course it's wrong

Yes it is wrong. The only reason the muslims are doing this is because they are uneducated and brainwashed to kill Christians because of Jihad as they interpret it (wrongly) in the Koran. Of course, it doesn't help much that they are douchebags. -Steve

  • We are all Human

I do not feel that anyone should be killed, Christian or not. Furthermore, I can't even fathom how a person could take another person's life. Think about it. Think of how much hate(not just for the person but their beliefs as well)is inside of someone's heart for them to kill another human.I don't think that ANYONE'S right to free speech should be silenced Christian or homosexual. We don't live in a free-for-some-people country.I can understand why there are those who view preaching against homosexuals is "hate speech/crime", but I can also remember that there is that little technicality of "separation of church and state". As long as the Christians aren't killing, maming, or bashing them, their speech is still protected by the laws on which this country was founded. This is just my opinion, but I think that if people would really put themselves in the other persons shoes, the world might just get a little happier. We all need to have respect for one another and a lot more love and understanding.

No religion allows to invade innocent people at any cost. Islam and Christianity r especially careful for that all. But unfortunately, nasty extremist like Ben Laden, Bush, Saddam and others r defaming the noble most heavenly religions of the world!!! We should strive to live like sober and sophisticated way by settlinbg all the burning issues amicably!

  • Wow

If you would die for your faith, that speaks volumes of you. To have to die because of your faith speaks volumes of your society. Christians are slowly losing their rights. You can't put the Nativity Scene up on public ground, I'd say that is a violation of freedom of religion. In the Pledge of Allegiance, most schools are taking out the Under God part. Some may agree that it isn't in coordinace with their faith, which is understandable, but that is America's pledge, if you start changing it to your liking it will start to lose its meaning. Christians are considered evil here in America by those that aren't Christians. Everyone preaches freedom and equality for all, so lay off the Christians.

  • Wait..

No, because every other religion gets persecuted for their beliefs! It's not fair that just because they are in the majority means that don't have to suffer.
